the ingame updates are running on a different server, which sony never shutdown because of zero risk

anyways an update on the supposed may 31st psn rumour, the online components will be back online before that, the better maybe in the coming days

If Seybold's "a few more days" statement holds true, PlayStation 3 gamers can hope for the PSN's return before this coming weekend. The operative word being hope.

the ps3 firmware update is now available, but psn is still down. :fuuuuu:

psn is slowly making it way back online, hopefully it'll be good tomorrow:

id get dead nation and super stardust, since i already have lbp and infamous, and wipeout not really my thing....

im just waiting for the Back to the Future episodes, their pretty much 2 episodes behind already..

I don't know about you guys, but when I updated my ps3 and rebooted it I tried signing in again and it prompted me to enter a new password and confirm it. Been playing on PSN since.

my ps3 is starting to act up. it doesn't read games, while playing nhl10 the commentators voice goes away, with black ops it freezes the ps3 after a match when going back to the main menu. does anyone know whats going on? thanks

i've always had issues with black ops locking up my console. the game's just broken as hell.

is your console overheating? when i had my ps3 on the floor under my table, it locked up twice while on mw2. i figured it was because the area was poorly ventilated + the heater was close by. since i've moved the ps3 to the table top, it's been fine.

SSF4 online worked fine last night. The password reset went swiftly and smoothly for me. I did, however, have trouble accessing the PSN Store.

Probably getting Dead Nation and Wipeout HD for the two free DLs.

i dont believe its over heating since it sits on a table. it freezes at the first game i play.
