waste of money lol |
my ps3 doesn't read any type of disc now, anyone know how to fix this problem ?? |
^ what model is it? (check the last 7 characters on the back). 9/10 chance it's a burned out laser, 1/10 chance it's a software issue. I can help you with both. |

LOL some diehard fans out there. there's a line up at the fs on brdigeport and they're lined up all the way to staples. its raining in richmond too |
can someone help me with this, when you use an hdmi cable for the ps3. is the image quality supposed to be really crisp? the video game quality doesn't seem that great |
^ did you go change the video output settings to match your tv? ie 720 or 1080p? |

If you're using the PS3 on a computer monitor with a native res of 1080p, most games will look like shit. They are usually 720p (upscaled from even lower resolutions). If a TV has its own 720p mode, it will look OK, not as blurry as on a monitor. |

what is little big planet about? is it a child's game or something? never played it before |
platformer..it has probably one of the best community in the recent years for console gaming (there's over 2 million custom levels online). It's kid-ish but also one of the few party-friendly games on the ps3. |
LBP is awesome, definitely worth the cash. I don't think it's overly party friendly myself, just because when you get 4 players running around it can become a shit show if you're actually trying to beat any kind of tricky level. For fooling around in user-created levels, it's amazing. Quote:

headsup for an older game: Picked up Bioshock 2 last night at the Walmart on Grandview Hwy for $15. Price lists it at $19, but was only charged $15 before taxes. :) |
Does anyone know if its possible to transfer saved game data between User ID's on the PS3? I bought my ps3 used a couple years ago, and thought it was all reset back to default settings. Now I find out that the "User 1" id I was playing under, is actually linked to the original owners PSN login. I want to retain my saved game data (GT5 and others) but be able to log in to my own PSN id. It doesn't seem to want to let me? I backed up all the saved game data onto a thumb drive (was swapping in a SSD at the same time) and every time I load the saved games back on, it loads up the old owners "User 1" id and links the games to him. I can't log in to PSN when its his ID. Any ideas? |
Can you log out of his ID? and back into yours? |

I would just use the User 1 log in, but it seems locked to his PSN id. So if I try to log into PSN with my ID it gives me some message about not being allowed to use someone elses ID |
