tbh... i think initial D is a shitty port... but i dunno why, i can't put it down once i start playing it lol, the game play is fun but the game is just too poorly made. long load times and lack of stuff that differs from arcade and console, at least the PS2 version was more original and the crippled asian version that didn't have online play. the rubberband AI sucks big times too, no matter how far ahead you are, the computer can catch up to u. but the computer will only speed up in certain points of the track. and i have no idea why a STI takes like 9 seconds from 0-100km/h.... i wish they made maximum tune 3 for PS3/360 with online play. even a complete direct port with no additional would be great and could take advantage of the PSN/xbox live network. |
its 10:23 pm, is the psn network down ? i can't log in at all for the past 15 minutes EDIT: N/M we moved some thing around in the house and I guess its interfering with the wifi on the ps3. Found out that it was the metal shoerack that we moved. I moved it back and now its working fine :) |
lets play some NHL!!! |
u got 360 as well? ^ id play you but i dont feel like unplugging my 360 and plugging in PS3 lol add me if you do i'll probably be playing COD tag: Sniperslayer77 |

how can it interfere with a WIFI network? |
I was wondering if a PS3 could connect onto my network? I have a Linksys WRT54GL (pretty old, I know) and is password protected. I didn't think I would have a problem until I put a password on it and my wii wouldn't connect anymore. |
^ the ps3 shoudln't have a problem at least i didn't. edit: So what has a better multiplayer and have more people playing? COD4 or COD5? i'm tearing my hair out trying to figure out what to buy lol. |
i think more people are playing COD5 right now i know i'm playing 5 |

The PS3 has both an optical (digital) output and an HDMI output. I was wondering it were possible to somehow disable the audio on the HDMI output and simply rely on the optical output? I have an older receiver that doesn't do the whole HDMI thing but does the optical thing. It connects to my system and so I would like to play it on bluray with the receiver otherwise, it will simply be playing from the TV. So, is there a way to disable the HDMI audio output and only have the optical audio output? |
^^^ Go into the audio settings. You can set which output you want to use for sound, and what decoders it supports. |

BD setting - sound - bitstream. you wont get lossless audio, but your AVR should be getting the sound now. |
Spanks you all. |
I recently changed my email so I created a new psn account under my new email. However when I try logging in on my ps3 it tells me that I can't log in under someone elses email. Was I suppose to change something on my ps3? |
Did you make a new User in the XMB? I think PSN IDs need to be tied to a new User in order to work. Make a new User and when it asks you to Register your PSN id or w/e just select use an existing account. Quote:

The added control that was given to players in NHL 09 really immerses you in the game, giving you as much control as you'd want in a game. |
