Unless you're buying an used one that was a part of the Motorstorm or MGS4 bundle. Key to knowing if a PS3 has backwards compatibility is to see if the front has 2 or 4 USB ports. 4 = PS2 BC, 2 ports = no PS2 BC

im sure a lot of you know this, but i just discovered that you can put a USB key into the PS3 with avi's in a "VIDEO" folder on the root, and you can play vids out of your PS3 easily. just thought i'd share in case some ppl didnt know this

don't bother. it's not a good game (IMO). feels a bit like RidgeRacer in a sense that the car has no 'weight' to it.

and it's fricken hard to beat the computer!!!

if you were to get it, you better make sure its the jap version and not the asian one, only the jap version has online capability. this game is alot better to play with the G25, other then that, this isnt a super great game, long load times and poor car physics....

Yeah I got a friend to look for it for me in Japan. I wished there was more import street racing games from Japan but it looks like there's only the Wangan Midnight which I heard sucked and Initial D where I've only read some mixed reviews.

Yup 09 is way better than 08.
