Question re: Irfanview: I am trying to use this in place of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (default viewer), but each time I open and go through images in a folder, they'd open up full size rather than fit to screen. Is there anywhere I can adjust that?

K-Dub 04-11-2008 12:57 AM

change it in the options. im pretty sure cause that's how i used to keep it too.

or in the
view->...
i dunno. i dont have windows right now with me so can't check.

Soundy 04-11-2008 07:37 AM

View -> Display Options (Window Mode)

Probably want to use "Fit only big images to window" or "Fit only big images to desktop". That will display smaller images un-sized in a smaller window, but anything bigger than the window will be resized down, or anything bigger than the desktop will be shrunk to fit within the desktop area.

ramir 05-07-2008 11:23 AM

hey guys i was just wondering what program do you use to view the exif files of pictures?

Levitron 05-07-2008 01:40 PM

In Windows: rightclick, properties
In Firefox: EXIF Viewer plugin

[HuCk DuCk] 05-07-2008 04:44 PM

FF: exif plugin
Win: bridge
Mac: EXIF-O-Matic, bridge, aperture

Soundy 05-07-2008 06:37 PM

Windoze, just about anything third-partry will show you EXIF: IrfanView, Fastone, even Picasa shows some limited EXIF.

Levitron 05-13-2008 02:31 PM

I found that the red elastic that you get with veggies worked the best with this thing.

hands down better than my 50mm f/1.4.

If your going to get this lens (highly recommended) I suggest you test it as there has been problems with front focusing with this lens.

K-Dub 05-20-2008 12:12 AM

Mom picked this up over the weekend in the states. :-)
