I have not been moved by a movie in a long time. I'm surprised this movie hasn't been mentioned more so far.

I agree. Just finished watching it and it is really a moving movie! Would rate it the same.

Also watched Her. Really liked it as well and would rate it 8.5/10

The Rise of the Empire

9/10.

Didn't think I would like it as much as I did. Nice escape from reality for a couple hours. Lots of great action and 3D titties.

Non-stop: 6.7/10

decent enough

300: Rise Of An Empire (3d D-Box)

9.5/10

Pure typical "guy" entertainment, although my girlfriend loved it as well.

300: Rise Of An Empire

LOVE THE TITS.

300 5.3/10

Felt dragged on, no real story, fighting and choreography was not bad.

I'd prefer if they did a story line where the Persians took over and small fighting forces within Athens (like insurgents) began doing guerilla warfare, while trying to raise a large army with neighbouring citystates/empires.

Kick-Ass: 8/10

Love the two movies, but recently had a hankering to watch the first one. Still think that this is the best scene from the movie. Spoilered just in case someone hasn't watched it yet, only because it contains a plot point... well, that, and lots of swearing. I think the background music (Adagio in D Minor) just makes the whole scene click.

Frozen 6.5/10.

Not usually a fan of Disney in general, but I wasn't bored.

Non Stop - 7/10. Still like Taken better by Liam Neeson

european 03-16-2014 01:49 PM

Pain & Gain

It wasn't bad. Not really my movie but it had some funny parts. 5/10

Euro7r 03-17-2014 07:44 PM

The Wolf of Wall Street - 8.5/10. Crazy amounts of swearing even within the first hour LOL!

300 Rise of an Empire
7.5/10 - Story wise I felt was pretty good how they blended in the scenes from the previous movie so we got more understanding. Fight scenes obviously weren't as intense as the first one.

Overall the movie was definitely entertaining tho!

That's a Hollywood issue. Plus I don't think that movie was going to historical accuracy. I don't think it would make any difference if they had Japanese accents.

It's the same idea with any middle ages movie/tv show having predominantly English-accented actors, even if the movie is based in somewhere like Scandanavia.

Hell Connery didn't even try to change his accent for his role in The Hunt for Red October. Made the movie all the better imo.

SpeedStars 03-21-2014 03:03 PM

Grand Budapest 7/10. This movie's meant for elderly folks..

pinn3r 03-21-2014 10:44 PM

Divergent 3/10

gf wanted to watch it; corny as fk
typical tween girl action. twilight-esque
this is subjective

PiuYi 03-22-2014 10:10 AM

The Switch 7/10

jason bateman and jennifer aniston fit the roles pretty well, quirky personalities
the plot is original, but other than that not really a hysterically funny movie... just some chuckles here n there

300: rise of an empire 5/10

Was really disappointed. I went to see it expecting to be blown away by epic battle scenes but was nowhere as good as the 1st one. The whole time I was squirming around in my seat uncomfortably, waiting to get lost in the epicness but it never happened.

300: Rise of an Empire 8/10

Mr. Peabody & Sherman 8/10
