i would watch 12 years a slave but i feel like it's going to be one of those movies that just ruins my whole day lol

the CGI came a long way. but the editing was really sub par. I undersatnd what they were trying to do but man, bad editing really cuts into the flow of the movie.

I have never seen hk movies take it to this level of gun fights during the last scene at LKF so that was pretty pimp.

Considering I had heard it was a terrible movie and started watching it with pretty much zero expectations, I was actually pleasantly surprised. No, it's not a great movie, but it was a great way to kill a couple hours before work this morning. I think Leonard Nimoy as Sentinel and Steve Jablosky's soundtrack both made the movie worth it. Might have to rewatch at least the first one (the second one can be completely ignored, as far as I'm concerned :lol ).

checked it out because it was the first time actors received the prestigous palme d'or at cannes...which is usually an award reserved for film directors

pretty much a 3 hour porn...sex scenes disrupted the pace but overall it's a great film...also didn't like the ending

Went into this with low expectations. Came out very satisfied. Eva Green's performance in this was fucking GREAT!

I'm going to guess there's going to be a third and final movie judging from the ending. (If this film does well)
