Visuals were great and the fight choreography was good. Movie was very short tho and barely accomplished anything.

went into it skeptical from user reviews, came out very satisfied and i think it'll only get better rewatching it over the years

The Place Beyond The Pines 7/10 - interesting movie with an interesting timeline. Good acting and characters. Could be deemed "slow" I guess but I enjoyed it. I think people's super shitty opinions of the movie helped me go into it with a very low expectation. I felt satisfied afterwards.

I second snowpiercer, great film, action, good characters, great depiction of human evolution. 8/10

decent story line, took a long time to get the ball rolling though. very easy foreshadowing though. could almost predict what would happen 20 minutes+ later.

I don't remember any movie in my recent history that I've given that grade.
Best action flick I've watched, sets the bar at a high level.

Trailer looked enticing. May I ask where you watched it? Is it available on Netflix or did you just dl it?

Divergent is definitely more of a rental. I wanted to watch 300, but the girl didn't want to.. 300 would probably be a let down from the first one, but at least it would be decent in a theatre...

If you like wes anderson, this is one of his best/edgiest yet. If you don't like Wes anderson, well I just don't know what to say to you.

Philomena 7.5/10
Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Great balance in the movie.

Need For Speed 6.8/10 - I actually really enjoyed it but the plot had holes and acting was kinda meh. But for a car action movie with little to no CGI it was quite good. I enjoyed it more than any F&F movie for the cinematography alone.
