hahahah remember there buddy that our cars are late 80's to early 90's when auto trannys were shit...u could miss 2 shifts and still beat a auto in our year....the new autos have a pretty tight tranny and they are like only .1-.4 different then a standard...but AUTOMATICS ARE BORING AS FUCK TO DRIVE...

one more thing they didnt make a auto Turbo 2nd gen...they r some smart mofo's

Do the speedo cables differ between the years and models? I've got an '85 GSL-SE and I need to picukp the cable that connects from the tranny to the cable running into the dash and speedo, I'm just wondering if any of them will work or if I have to get one from an 84-85 GSL-SE?

well at speedo cable are ran form t2 things one being the speedo it self the small gear at the end of the cable in your trans

any cable will do but will the gear come off on rex i have no clue

it should but i am guessing out of my ass

when is the RX-8 coming out? i want to go test drive one :D the next few years are goin to be great for new car.... 350Z, RX-8, possible MKV Supra, new Mustang, new Camaro (and a few other Chev hotrods).....

i think it comes out the summer of next year maybe...not any speedo cable will do they all come in different lengths...just go to the auto place and ask them if they r the same speedo cables

Who cares about the RX-8, I'm waiting for the new RX-7 that's rumoured to be released if the RX-8 does well.

I'm sure any 81-85 cable will work just fine.:D

Rx racer i know u know your shit on first gens but the 85 GSL-SE has the 13B engine??? maybe right?? and the other first gens have the 12A?? so i dont see how they will work...

Yup yup. That my motor the 13b bad ass.The speedo cable has nothing to do with the engine it has to do with tranny.I'm using a 12a stock tranny on my 13b.The parts from the Series 2 cars(FB: 81-85)seem to be interchangeable.But Zulu should ask mazda quickly about it before he buys it.
