I think the worst part about the Canucks every year is they are so god damn mediocore. Were always either just making the Playoffs, or just missing them...if you're going to lose fucking do it right so atleast we get a decent draft pick and build the team off of it, but no we suck it up just enough to make a first round exit, or just miss the playoffs altogether and get stuck with a shit 10th round pick.

Maybe they are just destined to always be bums.

Off topic, but with Forsberg signing with Modo and possibly retiring within lets say 2 years, do you think that he would make it in to the HHOF?

I can't imagine Gillis just sitting on his hand and not making a move like firing AV or unloading some players if the Canucks blow the next 2-3 games.

That Yahoo article above about Sundin not skating over the all-star break has to be one of the worst written sports articles I have ever read in my life... it's got no point, no continuity and the information in it is either old or outdated or flat-out inaccurate (ie: Demitra is NOT back... Sundin himself said he was skating over the all-star break)

I was listening to Team1040 (Pratt and Taylor) and the interview clip they played of Sundin, Sundin said so himself he just went to Whistler with his wife to take a break and relax. So he didn't skate at all.

On an unrelated note, I heard that Rick Rypien got into a fight in a Calgary bar the last time the team was down there. He beat up a patron there pretty bad and was sent back here by the team.

I believe the official word is Rypien is away due to "family reasons".

Did he actually say he DIDN'T skate?

if he didnt skate wtf is the difference, he's not skating at NHL speed so if he's working out for 3 hours a day in the gym but not skating, big fucking whoop, if your not skating at NHL speed then why bitch over him not skating
