Yeah, I suspect Lu rushed it because of the situation the Canucks were in. The Devils on the other hand caught on fire right after Brodeur got injured which gave him an opportunity to sit out a few more games so he was fully recovered.

That been said, it’s a known fact that it takes some time for Lu to get back into his grove after a long layoff. I think Lu’s starting to find his game but we shall see tonight if super Lu is back and can steal a big game for his team.

Yeah man, why couldn't Luongo have be like that when he returned from his injury.... at this rate, Brodeur will definately be the starting goalie for Team Canada in the 2010 Olympics..

if brodeur can play like this in 2010, i will be damn glad he's our starter!

remember, it's not about what player makes the team, it's all about GOLD for Canada.

Thank god.

This guy makes Salo look like an ironman

His recent absence from the team was due to "personal reasons" and not an injury.

Well it's a lot easier for a goalie to come back from an arm injury than it is for one to come back from a groin injury, especially for a butterfly goalie.
Besides Lu's known for his slow starts, and i guess marty doesn't have that problem.

Brodeur also had a shoulder injury, which wouldn't affect his playing as much as Lu's groin injury. A groin pull is devastating for a butterfly goalie.

Nah...groin injuries are horible for goalies because of the butterfly position and how much stretching they need to do. The guys on Team 1040 were talking about that when a caller called in asking why Lu has been pretty off ever since he came back from his groin injury.

I call BS because it's not on TSN.ca but the Leafs will be unloading most of their players so the Canucks might go after someone.

What's with the gay camera angles on Sportsnet?

I am getting a headache watching because they are showing upclose and the movement is very nausiating. It's like try to watch a movie at the theaters but sitting in the first 3 rows.

+1. Noticed that too. Why the hell would they favour the corner camera over the overhead camera as their standard view.
