^It's not just missing playoff hockey... it's the feeling that we have a serious legitimate shot this year. Even the last time, a couple years ago, there was this sense of, "we don't belong here, this won't last". This year there seems to be a much broader feeling that we have the potential and ability to do some serious damage. Even the usual sports pundits are offering less of their "yeah, but..." comments.

I suppose the ultimate litmus will be what "Troy in White Rock" has to say... :)
