Lol, I totally forgot St.Louis had one more game to play.

I give Phoenix thanks for hanging in there and not giving up for their "meaningless" game.

maybe canucks and luongo are on a hot streak and they don't wanna face against them... maybe they rather face osgood or conklin....

Maybe.. not that I don't have faith in the Canucks, but if I were to choose between going against the defending stanley cup champion, the president trophy winner, or the vancouver canucks.......... oh well, maybe..

LUUUUUUUU 04-11-2009 07:19 PM

i donno i dont care... bring on the blues/blue jackets, the canucks are gonna wh00p them

So how does the tie breaker work? Should STL win tomorrow, they'd have the exact same W/L/OTL as CBJ.

Not really racist! 04-11-2009 07:52 PM

The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

LUUUUUUUU 04-11-2009 07:53 PM

isn't the tie breaker the season series between the 2 teams first if the wins are identical in wins

Tie-Breaking procedure
Division leaders are seeded 1, 2, and 3 in Conference standings. If two or more clubs are tied in points during the regular season, the standing of the clubs is determined in the following order:

1 - The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2 - The greater number of games won.
3 - The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4 - The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

i think it goes:

points
wins
season series
goal difference

Blah_Teggie 04-11-2009 08:36 PM

St. Louis went 5-1 vs Columbus this year so if St. Lous wins tomorrow, they will face the Canucks

Harvey Specter 04-11-2009 09:12 PM

I wish to god we don't have to face the Blues.

The Blues are RED HOT! Scary team.. Mason in net is scary too.

LUUUUUUUU 04-11-2009 10:59 PM

anyone know if Kariya will be in playing in the playoffs? yes the blues would be tougher than blue jackets imo

I'm stoked for the playoffs...anyone else got any playoff tickets? got game 2 this morning..

I also find it funny about these comments of not wanting to face the blues or jackets...we should just have a petition and give us a BYE and into the Finals right away

I heard on the radio he is ready for Sunday but its up to Quenville to play him, why would he mess with the chemistry, they're on fire right now.

Maybe history will repeat itself? Somehow Mellanby will get a Blue player sick and the rest will fall like flies :)

Kariya's hoping to play in the post-season. He's currently being evaluated by the docs.

That fucker decides to show up in the post-season. Such a waste of a fantasy draft pick.
