so been thinking of more tattoo ideas, I've thought of having the Finnish coat of arms Lion done before and after seeing it the way it's done on Niemi's mask here i really like this outlined style its done in:

was thinking perhaps over a shoulder, not sure of the size though

do you guys think a style similar to Niemi's with the outline look would translate into a tattoo?

Those aren't really styles.. one is handwriting - anyone can do that. The other is the most common tattoo seen since the tribal arm bad. Anyone can do that too.

Go to any competent walk-in artist - I guarantee they will be familiar with the flock of birds design. Some artists may be too snobby to do it, but most will be happy to make a quick buck and as long as they don't suck you'll get what you want.

Appointment with Jesse is almost here. Chest piece going down June 5th. Been over a year since my first tattoo. Question though never gotten a tattoo where hairs grow more aka my chest. I'm not a hairy person but I'm guessing I should come with my chest clean shaved already?

I would. The razor they usually use are cheap crap, and who knows what kind of lube they'll use (for my arms it was always the alcohol water). In a way that is almost as uncomfortable as the tattooing itself

SkinnyPupp 05-14-2013 11:30 PM

If you shave with something like a Shick or a Gillette you won't cut yourself... unless you are doing something really wrong with it :fuckthatshit:

Alpine50 05-14-2013 11:48 PM

I got like no hair on my chest. The longest hairs maybe like a inch. When I got the inside of my bi tattoo'd he quickly shaved it but there was like no hair at all haha. Maybe ill shave a week or 2 before, see what's up I guess.

I wouldn't shave a week or two before, you'll have a bunch of stubble that will make it even harder to shave again... at least I assume that! maybe not

Alpine50 05-15-2013 12:04 AM

Lol...... Ill just leave it I guess. I've never shaved my chest before so he'll be the first almost during 23 hahaha

u could always try that nair body hair removal cream. just read the instructions carefully and it should work like a charm. an inch long chest hair seems pretty damn long... well maybe because im asian lol

underscore 05-15-2013 06:34 AM

maybe phone them and ask? or if you're worried about possible issues with razors/cuts etc, wax it a couple days before.

westopher 05-15-2013 08:49 AM

LOL. You are over thinking this shaving thing.....
Just shave your chest with any razor that isn't 6 years old and rusty and you aren't going to cut yourself.

VR6GTI 05-15-2013 09:17 AM

Let the tattoo artist shave you. Its that simple.

phantom x 05-15-2013 11:22 AM

I will shave you.. Gotta buy me a drink first!!...lol

To give you a comparison, I'm about 35 hours or so into my back piece with about 8 or so more to go. Full color, full back with 1/4 turtle back(butt cheeks).
