im looking to get some work done from cohen floch. For all of you that have work done previously by him I was wondering what are his usual rates and how fast does he work, quality. looking to get a chest piece/half sleeve done.

I ll be making an instagram for him later on but atm he only has a small little blog and its rarely ever updated. he charges 160 an hour.

honestly he does very good work, I would say I got lucky to find him as my first artist because alot of guys including myself getting a first piece was all impulse and dont really know much about it. (I had no idea what I was doing)

as for how fast?
i dunno dude just sit down and play it by ear.
took him 4.5-5 to do my chestplate
and 3 hours in to my forearm and outline is done and shading is started.

oh and i have my appt on thurs, finish this bitch up.:thumbs:

and have the feeling that im going back to him for more work in the future as well.

what's even better is that he's in seattle!! charges 200 per hr. anybody been with him before?

Man my foot is taking forever to heal !.. Its been a week and it just started to peel now, i guess its a circulation thing , beeing at the lowest point on ur body and plus cramming all that detail in there, thank god my right on wont be for a while . Gonna finish off my whole left leg first

Yeah Aaron is legend in the game, self taught and been around forever. I tried to get in with him years ago but it is pretty damn hard. He is always on the move doing conventions all over the world. I want to buy one of his Japanese paintings. His two Slave to The Needle shops are full of dope artists tho worth checking out. Seattle has a lot of top notch artists.

A local artist who doesn't get a lot of credit is Dave Nicholson who works out of Three Point Tattoo downtown Van. He used to work at Dutchman's. fucking killer Japanese work.

I think I have decided to hold out and keep trying to get in with Rob Hope to do my other rib panel. IMO he is the best in this area and Top 3 in Canada.

My Top 3 artists in Canada would be Rob Hope, Steve Moore, and Kurt Wiscombe in no particular order.

who else would you recommend for japanese work in seattle?

thinking of getting a fairly big back tattoo.
what are some of the things i need to look out for in terms of design?
i just want to make sure the design i get rendered doesnt fade/smudge and basically look like shit eventually.
how do i know what i want will translate well into a tattoo?
