now it's all about the waiting game :(

the last time i ordered a phone from rogers, it came the next day. hope this is the case for all of us who ordered it today. doubt mine will though, ordered it late afternoon

i got it from customer retentions. i've had a retentions plan for quite awhile now. i usually negotiate a new plan with them once in awhile to suit my needs or when i see new things come up.

honestly, being nice to them helps. whenever i speak with them, i lay out exactly what i'm looking for and they usually give it to me no questions asked. the csr that helped me yesterday was really really nice and very helpful. when he told me "there is a $35 admin fee for getting the bold" i straight up in a nice tone said "is there anyway u can wave that?" and he replied "yes, let me do that for you now"

EASY ENOUGH, my friend has tried a few times with retentions..she hasn't had such luck with them though. she tried being nice and they just weren't havin it..so she became a huge bitch

So did she win by being a huge bitch or did it go downhill from there? haha

I'm going to try and get the same plan...but then I'm torn as to whether to get the data or not. My current Jap phones don't have data...maybe I'll join the dark side and get an iPhone 3G until the X1 is available lol

aha my store had 3 of em today...already all gone. hopefully i'll be gettin alot more of em next week.

the rogers store in metro was selling it for $750. that's way too steep. especially when it's not in line with the rogers online store.

also, can anyone clear up some questions i have concerning the BB messenger. if i don't have a data plan and use wifi would i still be able to send/receive messages through MSN using the BB messenger software?
