Got mine (400 after rebate, so they gave me a bigger discount comparable to one for a new customer, than they had told me on the phone previously). Web browsing is so-so, but everything else I like, especially the security options. Went through every single setting and option on the phone... took a while.

I just ordered my bold online through roger's hup program (logging into my account) on sunday. How long does it usually take for them to deliver?

how's the battery life for the bold?
I got a pearl and it lasts for a about a day or so.

Battery life sucks even with WiFi off.
I definitely prefer the metallic bezel.

hhm I logged into the rogers site to do a hardware upgrade on my own and I saw that I was eligible for the bold for $199 if i resigned for 3 years. Did rogers goof because I immediately placed the order. My phone hasn't ship yet because it is out of stock ( I called in to check ) but is it possible for Rogers to cancel my order if they realized they somehow fucked up?

it should bring you to a page that shows your current plan and options and one of the links at the top of the page is upgrade my phone

Can the Blackberry bold be software unlocked to work with any sim card even if you buy it with Rogers?

Now is that the same as software unlock? And how much does it cost to unlock it?

Will I lose all my settings, icon arrangements, and installed apps if I upgrade?

i did a back up before i did the upgrade and i didn't lose anything. the only thing you lose is the login password for some apps, like msn and facebook etc.

my battery has only gone down 5% since last nite.

Make a backup before you upgrade. I think you can backup on the fly as well.

When I first put 162 in, battery life was wicked. After a week of use the battery life is back to where it was before and there's still a memory leak. I pretty much use up all the battery in 10 hours of light use.

Also had a massive battery drain a couple days ago. Battery completely drained in 4 hours. The phone was just locked in the holster:confused:
