Change your default calendar.

I got the guy to call and release the pin but he said the pin was inactive with the network.

i noticed after that the pin on my options menu is different than the pin on the back of the device.

i gave the guy the pin on the back of the device and he is gonna call back and try again.

that's fucked! never seen that before!! how do u think that happened? its like 2 numbers that are reversed so kind of hard to spot unless you look close.

You shouldn't have to wait to get the data working. When I got my Bold everything worked right away. I would call in and ask why it's not working or you'll be waiting for a real long time :p

I bet they didn't set you up with a BB data plan and just a regular data plan.

bossxx 09-18-2009 07:59 PM

So has anyone else had a blackberry with 2 diff pins or am i the only one? haha

hi5-ive 09-18-2009 08:03 PM

^so, is yours working now? i know my frd bought a new bold from someone, but the box PIN# and phones PIN# wasnt the same but he didnt have problems that you are having. weird.

Kilinim 09-19-2009 12:17 AM

Just got my Bold a few days ago. I'm stoked!

I should have had it on the 5th but now I have to wait up to 10 business days. Had the rep credit my data for this month, guess all I can do is wait. Fuck rogers, bastards.

I have the same problem as you. Ordered my bold via retentions on Aug. 29th. My order was in a perpetual "red, pending" status. Finally, a CSR was able to find out that this error is a glitch in their ordering system. He sent a escalation order to IT, and, 24hrs later, they confirm that the shipping department will get the order out.

Gh0stRider 09-19-2009 10:36 PM

ya, funny how doing a reset will fix most of the problems with the phone.

No its not.

re/re entire phone
Cleared pin on status menu (not on rogers network)
Cleared pin from behind battery (worked)
re/re entire phone
100 battery pulls in the past week
send service books a dozen times as well from rogers.com/bis account
confirmed that my data plan is a bb 500mb data plan and active

bb tech support is having a blast with this one.

I am gonna try and sell it on craigslist and just buy another one I guess. No point fucking around with this shit anymore. So annoying.

Hopefully you haven't been paying for data since you don't have the phone. I actually got Rogers to credit my account for my data charge and then all of a sudden I get the phone in like two days, so I guess this month's data is free for me. Just curious, how much did you pay for your Bold?

Jer3 09-22-2009 12:29 AM

anybody having problems with ticketmaster mobile? whenever i try to do anything i get the message "the selected server returned an error when attempting to fulfill your request" =/

Graeme S 09-25-2009 02:59 PM

So I'm trying to find new themes for my bold, specifically an L or a U theme that autohides the icons--I like having fullscreen wallpapers.

Anyone have any ideas where I can find something of the sort? Or how hard it is to write themes for the Bold?

Also, as a sidenote, are there any restrictions on filesizes or pixelcounts for wallpaper images on the Bold? I've got a few pictures I've tried to put as my wallpaper but when I try and select them, they just revert back to the default rogers one.

Any suggestions or help?

anyone else having their bbm requesting for an update when you run it? however, when trying to get the link, the info provided is for older phone with os 4.0 or 4.1. when trying to download anyways, it says my phone is updated and no need for it. the request is every so often.
