Rorschach died because he refused to keep it a secret. I dunno why that was hard to understand. |
i thoroughly enjoyed the movie being a fan of the comic, but i can see how the general audience might have a tough time appreciating it in the same light. its definitely not going to appeal to just anyone... overall a very well done and faithful adaptation! |

i saw the 4:30 show at the imax here in london. and by 4:30, i mean 4:30 in the morning... all the other shows were sold out, so we stayed up late to watch it. i enjoyed the movie - even if i was super tired and it was a little long. i really like the camera angles and the overall style of the movie. the sex scenes seemed a little out of place - and Mr manhatten's penis was so not necessary. he should just wear a loin cloth the entire time. |

They are for the most part pretty flawed, I think you have to make the distinction that they are not your typical superheroes... Spoiler! |

most people don't know what watchmen is about, its not about just fighting and so on like all the other superhero movies, you gotta understand the meaning behind everything and so on recommend you read the graphic novel, its great, beautiful work |

I wanted to go see this last night but we ended up returning our tickets and going out with a couple of girls. After reading the reviews, I am probably going to watch it, and then make up my own mind on it |

Have you seen X-men? Wolverine's killing people left and right. Ironman killed those terrorists. Punisher? There are plenty of superheroes who kill. The goal for the superheroes was to "save the world", and he did just that. Saving the world doesn't mean saving all lifes. Why do we go to war? Why did we fight in WW2? We knew people would die. Soldiers will die. Cilvilians. Why did the US bomb Hiroshima? It's all for a greater good. (well of course the Hiroshima bombing is a controversial thing but I'm just using it as an example from the gov't's point of view when they launched it and not giving my opinion about the morality of it). |
the question I have is how was it supposed to end? |
have to look at the bigger picture |

One thing that drove me crazy was the non-stop shots of the hammer through the whole movie WTF?!?!? |
On another note that Silk Specter is fucking hawt. I got a boner watching certain scenes with her. She has great legs. |
The best line in the movie. Spoiler! |

ofcourse if it WAS real life, the inkblots wouldn't actuall be shifting but for imagery sake, they put the effect in for the movie |
Malin Akerman is in Harold and Kumar (shes the wife of the guy with the boils on his face) and has a topless scene, for anyone who wants to see whats beneath the lycra |
