Well, we finally went and saw it this past Friday... what a freakin' nightmare. Went to Colossus, cuz we wanted to see it in IMAX.... wife checked the listings on Thursday and they listed it there at 7, so we timed everything nicely, had dinner headed to the theater... and found they now had Monsters vs. Aliens in the IMAX. FRAK! And now the next showing of Watchmen wasn't until 8. FRAK! Gotta kill another hour. So we killed some time in the arcade... where the air hockey table ate four tokens and one of the shooting games ate another two. DOUBLE FRAK!

Oh yeah. and the movie was pretty good. I never read the comics, but I managed to pretty much follow it all. Pretty a-typical as "superhero" movies go. I'd probably see it again.

This is by far the best 'superhero movie' (although its not really a superhero movie lol) I've ever seen. Nothing even comes close. 10/10 a must watch!

Note: If you think movies like Spiderman or Transformers were good movies, you should just skip this one, you will not be able to appreciate this movie. :D

i understand they needed to cut the movie length down to 2hrs 30min but i thought the extra footage in the directors cut was very necessary.

I really want to know. I don't want to be disappointed going to BestBuy and they don't have it anymore.

naw man that movie was really bunk...all the action scenes were shown in the commercials
