Dunlop Graspics 205's and 225's on 16" rims. I paid $500 for the set, used, on rims. And they were NEW condition!

actually i'm starting to sense that as well. everytime i hit a patch of bare ice, the grip drops away hardcore. i don't remember it being that drastic with the blizzaks. maybe it's cuz these tires were meant to be studded? they have the slots all ready.

I'm still on my all seasons Toyo Proxes 4...best all-season tire I've used.

Excellent in the rain...decent in the snow if I drive carefully. But I rarely drive when it snows anyways.

Got X-Ice2, a few weeks ago, on the Prius, and tried it out last night. They work really well. They're quite sticky in the snow, and I was able to make the slippery climb out of the garage with no slippage. It handled well on roads of varying conditions, and turns didn't produce any understeer.
