Dunlop Graspics 205's and 225's on 16" rims. I paid $500 for the set, used, on rims. And they were NEW condition!

Pics from last winter when I bought them:

Damn you're crazy for driving a Porsche in the winter. Despite having good winters, I'd be pissed if some douchebag in a champange colored Corolla barrels into me.

I was getting along fine, then someone plowed into me.

I ran those last winter, they are unreal,

my only gripe is their ice traction isn't up to par, but everything else is absolutely unreal, it's like driving on summer pavement all over again

actually i'm starting to sense that as well. everytime i hit a patch of bare ice, the grip drops away hardcore. i don't remember it being that drastic with the blizzaks. maybe it's cuz these tires were meant to be studded? they have the slots all ready.

what are you running now, got a review for us?

AznD604 12-14-2008 12:46 PM

im using TOYO G2 observe its whicked but pricey

I have the X-ice on the camary and its awesome! If I lose traction all I have to do is just lessen the pressure on the gas, not lift off completely and I never had a problem with skidding. The only time the tires ever lost traction was coming up the Knight street hill between 41 and 37. Had a choice of going up one block or going down 4...... stupidly choose to go up....

How come we never see you drive the Camry nad you talk so mcuh about it?

I bought Pirelli P zero Nero for my bmw - they are all season

CRS 12-14-2008 02:07 PM

Well I'm debating the Nordic and X-ice

keifun 12-14-2008 02:11 PM

I'm still on my all seasons Toyo Proxes 4...best all-season tire I've used.

Excellent in the rain...decent in the snow if I drive carefully. But I rarely drive when it snows anyways.

Adrenaline Rush 12-14-2008 02:47 PM

Dunlop Wintersport M3's as well - great tires.

Leopold Stotch 12-14-2008 03:16 PM

Goodyear ultra ice grips in the front
and Uniroyal tiger paws in the rear.

they're damn good. never EVER lost traction.

orange7 12-14-2008 03:26 PM

lol.. still using the same pair of rubber for winter..

Green Puma shoe!

haha...

thread life on this pair of shoe isn't that great.

Running Blizzak LM-22 on my G Coupe :)

HKS PWR 12-14-2008 03:30 PM

Running on Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2 for the second season now. Couldn't be happier!

Presto 12-14-2008 03:32 PM

Got X-Ice2, a few weeks ago, on the Prius, and tried it out last night. They work really well. They're quite sticky in the snow, and I was able to make the slippery climb out of the garage with no slippage. It handled well on roads of varying conditions, and turns didn't produce any understeer.
