I'm not sure if it's because I have the mindset for this class, but I literally studied only three hours for the last midterm, and got an A.
He must have eased up because when I took it, I was one of 3 A-s in his class. And that was the highest mark sadly. He takes his midterm questions from the textbook worded exactly.

O and, definitely screen the English teachers at Langara for most are awful. DO NOT TAKE KUBICEK

I heard Mandarin is pretty easy. If you took any sort of Chinese school before, you should do fine.

English 1127 is gonna be the tough one.. Which prof are you guys taking?

DDSN 1100 Sherry Hancock:
- Just do some bullshit journal entries
- Midterms..not much to study..all True/False and MC
- Managed to get a B not studying and not paying attention in class

CPSC 1000 Bryan Green
- Microsoft office suite....
- Skipped 2nd half of labs and never showed up for lectures and got an A-
- Midterm...he gives u what he wants on paper and u have to do it on office...

those r some of the easy GPA boosters I took..

Scott McLean's macro class already has a full waitlist. There's only two macro teachers this summer and the other one sucks shit. Guess I'll have to wait until fall :(

Bryan actually looks like he likes his job and he actually goes the extra mile to make his classes interesting. Sure his sense of "entertainment" to keep the class's attention is very "immature" but he's better than the other profs that just read slides off the screen without any sort of life in the lectures. I found it amazing how he can make such a dry subject turn into a not so dry lecture. I mean its boring but you'll never fall asleep in his lectures.

I just like the fact that he goes the extra mile in his lectures and his labs.
