I met a girl in class last night for Marketing. How we met was by the teacher saying a Miata is a 1/5 on a scale of performance, then we both shut him down by telling him a Miata is a potential track car with care and passion. Apparently she is Vice for UBCSCC...jesus christ.

You probably can as 1174 is business math and is offered by both SFU and UBC. You can always try asking for Instructor's permission right before registration if you want to take 1174 again. Just do research on your professors before taking 1174. If you're in business, I believe you may take 1171 as a replacement or 1173, but the latter appears to be harder as it incorporates computer sciences?

Talk to math department head, they will let you take it again.

Finally finished my damn nutrition assignment

So what food do you guys recommend to buy?
I've been to the student's union building a few times and noticed that you can buy food there.. How is it?
And where does the lineup start in the main cafeteria(the one near the entrance)?
Any foods to look out for?

food sucks at langara. Only good thing in the main caf is pizza, and the sandwhich station.

Pretty pricey, but a big slice of pizza and a pop for 5 dollars is ok.

If i have a 2 hour break I'll just take the canada line downtown and go eat schwarma, or a nam sub/curry katsu from robson and seymore.

Not sure if they're still doing this, but if you're not picky, you can just ask for chow mein. It was $2.50 last year. But if you do add-ons, they charge like crazy.

Who the hell needs lunch. I go to school for 3 hours tops so I don't eat lunch
