Sciences at langara may be cheap, but you have to take 2 courses to be considered first year (at ubc where im transfering in january)... it's the same price anywhere else if you consider the consequences...

Breitman's class was the class I always looked forward to. He used to tell us cases that he had experience but not too much detail. Taught us how to launder money though with basic techniques to avoid the law hahahaha.

Anybody know if POLI1100 counts as a W credit to SFU?
On BCtransferguide it says it transfers as POL 100 but a bit of hunting on the SFU W courses list says POL 101 is the W equivalent to POL 100
Sorry for asking the same question I already emailed SFU but I guess they've been bombarded with emails since I did not recieve a reply yet. =/

I got Anthro 1120, 1400 and Marketing late at night on Tues. So that's my schedule most likely

yeah I'm not the most tech savvy guy but if you know how to, get your langara emails forwarded to your phone if your on waitlist and etc, that happened to me last year where I was wayy back on the waitlist for Macro Econ and they emailed saying due to the demand they opened up another course at the same time and it was just first come first serve. I was so lucky to have been online when the email came in saying that because within like a hour or two the class was full.

They're holding our final grades hostage....wheb they're not even due or supposed to be out yet :facepalm:

Anybody here pay their tuition payments then had to drop a course? What happens to the money paid for that course that you dropped.. is it gone or do you get your money back for that one course?

They send you a cheque, but it takes quite some time to get it.

Who did you have for entrepreneurship? Was the class difficult?

Bcap with Film and Tacos is such an easy class. If you know how to navigate a computer you'll get an A.
And math with pichmony is really easy. He practically writes andtells you how to do questions on the exam, while you write the exam. He even wrote it out on the board. He was walking around class and looked at someone paper and the facepalmed. Then went on some rant about how he taught us how to answer it, and wrote it out on the board sans the answer. Haha

One of my profs said they arent allowed to submit final marks to the school yet. They have to wait for the unions go ahead. And the whole issue "should" be resolved in a week, and we can all move on with our lives.

Some teachers do put the marks (final exam and final mark) on to blackboard though, but as I said already, they just can't submit them to the school just yet.

yeah my international business prof posted marks on blackboard but when I go to my transcript it still says in progress
