don't know how half semester english works
i can register for 1127(half sem) but cannot register for 1129(half sem)
is it like they reserve spots for you and once you finish it, then they'll let you in?
pretty anxious about finishing off 6 credits of 1st year Eng in summer
but i got all other courses that I want =) that's a relief

I registered. And yea. I can tell you all that this summer semester is the shittiest semester out of my 2 years at Langara based on the courses they are offering (and maybe teachers).

Is math 1152 precalculus hard? I did pretty shitty in math 12 but I didnt try in highschool.

Anybody know if POLI1100 counts as a W credit to SFU?
The W credits list says the transfer equivalent is POL100 but under it says POL101 is the W equivalent to 100.

It's pretty easy and I didn't go to a lot of classes. It's a lot easier than math 12 imo.

Cause they don't offer all courses during summer and all the good teachers take a holiday, lol.

fuck this one chem course gets in the way of EVERYTHING. I want to take it with bio, but alas it's not possible. I have no choice but to take it though. gonna be a boring semester.

Never take a science unless you really want to because of the labs. They always ALWAYS get in the way unless you are VERY VERY lucky to fit everything in and into slots. I hate breaks cuz they waste my time at a boring school so I don't even consider a break to be good fitments.

When do classes start? I think the 9th? Not sure.....

You must go to school later in the day and luck out with parking in a spot that someone payed for the whole day.

I'm usually there near the beginning of the day, so I have to pay for sure.

My friend has gotten a couple tickets for not buying a ticket.

Do you guys know if I could register for one course and pay for UPASS and then withdraw the one course before payment deadline to get a full refund on the course's fee?

I did that last summer, but you still have to pay the 252 fee for the Upass.

I think that since you're taking it in the summer, you'll prob have keating. I had him for another course. He's quite laid-back.

It is keating. I'm just taking it because I need as many credits/electives as i can and I can maximize my sumemr semseter.

they better figure this shit out soon, I applied for SFU for september and it says I have been accepted but they are requesting for a final transcript so I ono what this means for me if Langara pulls some gay shit and doesn't release my marks lol, I also wonder how this affects people trying to transfer based on their potential marks for this semester. lol and fuck I signed up for one summer course too fuckin god now they probably thinking of holding that hostage too if they can't figure this shit out soon.
