No I did. Whatever he teaches is ok but hes too boring. More material than real life relation or cases. No :seriously: he's boring. The only thing that kept me up was sitting in the back going on RS with my blackberry

No I'm still slacking off and I admit it lol. I just don't have the driving force I need so I don't put enough effort. I can't even make it into admission yet, but close, very close to making it to general admission requirements. My parents already told me that this is the last year at Langara and I will have to move on somewhere else even if it means out of BC. A few probable picks were chosen like UVIC or UBCO or U of Alberta. Most likely UVIC tho since I do want to go into their Law program

^When did you register for Langara and what program/year are you doing?

Danielle's awesome to some if you're one of her favorites. A lot of people say she's pretty crazy though, she's quite random and hyper. It's a bit scary, though I imagine there won't be any of that online. She's pretty picky about things, even with super keeners straight A types you may not do all that great, you have to somehow be one of her favorites. XD

i dropped out of first year. fucked up and couldn't find motivation. so yeah starting fresh in sept basically. uni transfer.

Thanks Complex! Do you guys have any thoughts/experiences with online courses? I'm planning to take MARK 1115 online with Michaels or Larden and don't know what to expect versus MARK 1115 Lectures.

Having Kandey Larden for Intro to business in canada as well as TOS'd whos having her for half online/half in class. Idk I don't like her. If you know your stuff I guess she's fine, if you don't I guess you have a lot of readings to do.

I had Noel Genoway for Organizational Behaviour. He was the dude that actually kept me up and wanting to go to OB at night cuz it was 6-9 course. Awesome guy and his tests are ok if you were listening and understanding in class. What I like about him is that he asks us questions and keeps us awake and he's an interesting guy to hear/talk to. Very pro, wears a dress shirt and pants to class, plsu he has an Human Resource backround. He knows his stuff for OB. Recommended

:okay: The reason I'm asking here is because you guys have better personal and unbiased opinions compared to ratemyprof. Plus, more than half the ratemyprof reviews seem like they're from the profs themselves (e.g: first couple reviews of http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/Show...sp?tid=1126613) and/or students who failed horribly because they didn't put in the effort.

I post some of my own experiences on ratemyprofessor sometimes. The trick is to exagerate the teacher ratings kinda. If they ratings are really really good, it only means that they have the OK to take the course. If they have OK (moderate face) ratings, it means they are bad and ready to get down to work hard. If they have Sad Face ratings, don't even bother lol.

Take genoway's 6-9, and tell me what you think after a few classes. You kinda know what kind of person he is a few classes in already. He loves WestJet btw LOL cuz their OB structure is a good one to emphasize and use as an example and Google as well. At the end of the semester you will have a WestJet project to do, which is simple and easy because its easy to BS the goodness out of WestJet.

Didnt do as well as i thought i would on the midterm.. but im kinda satisfied for the amount of studying i put in..

But yeah he keeps me awake and is very friendly - Reccommended
