yep, all because i took 1 course that I didn't finish back in 09, i have a registration date of the 27th at 4pm. Quite choked, especially since my grades this last 2 semesters have been stellar.

lol because i missed 2 weeks of chemistry I hired a tutor.

registration pissing me off... says I don't have prerequisite for English 12 with C+?? fucking interim marks and finals POS... now I can't register for any courses because I don't know my final mark...

I can't remember, but it's either a C or C+ that you need to take the LET

thats normal. You should have done some research and done the LET.

the only way to get into 1127 is LET or a 80+ in english 12.

If you're in the top 10 for wait-list there's a very high chance of getting in unless it's a super high demand course. It's pretty much guaranteed though.

I'm still pretty pissed off about my late registration date.

Even though I finished that history course this semester with a 4.00, becuase I took that 1 course in 09 when I tried to go back to school but just stopped going, it brought down my gpa to a 2.00.

My only GPA courses last semester I finished with a 3.67, it was only 2 courses, so 2 courses with a 3.67 and a 0, ruined my gpa and gave me a horrible registration.

Pretty choked at Langara that new students are getting better registration then older students, especially since I have to still do a few 1st years.

also since your going for nursing make sure you get top grades.

If you are going for bcit youll need 60 credit, so do your prereq's and then do 30 random easy credits.

Remember keep your GPA high. It's highly competative. If your gpa is high enough you can do the bare minimum of volunteering.

In my entrepreneurship class last semester, I was like 30 something on the waitlist. I emailed the prof that I wanted a seat in class, and then he manually placed me in a few weeks later.

Suck teachers balls and you may get into the class because it shows you really want to get into the class unlike some lazy bastard that uses the registration system and doesn't go the extra mile.

Hey everyone! Do you guys know if I have to send Langara my transcripts from UBC? I didn't do well enough to get from UBC Arts first year to Commerce second year. I'm planning to do (Year 2) of the Langara transfer program.

UBC should send them over after you pay them at the Registrar's office with a form. Like 16-24 bucks I think or something. I assume thats what they do because Langara does the same thing where you just pay and hand in a form written where you want your transcript to go and they will send it. Takes about 8 business days.
