Exactly. But look at the total price you're paying, maybe $800 for a crazy, souped-up netbook that's light, fast, slim and has better battery life than an equivalent-priced laptop. Some people will still go for the laptop, but I'd go for the netbook because it's crazy and I got to put mods in it ahhaha :lol

Thinking of getting rid of my Acer aspire one 8.9inch 160gb hd for the asus eee 1000he. Is it worth it?

^i've had the 1000 for over 9 months now and IMO 10.2" is a good match between comfort and ultra-portability. It'd be perfect if it was just a bit lighter

i use the 1000HE now after a Acer Aspire One and an MSI Wind. this is the best netbook evAR. so far lol

phenominal battery life. nice big keyboard. readily swappable HDD and RAM via removeable door. overclockable. wireless N, BT.

nice big screen.

the bad. the unit is a little heavy, compared to the other two.

i put a 500 GB drive and 2 GB ram in mine

I got a 1000he for my boss yesterday. NCIX gave me $439 but un-willing to match $419 online.

I just ordered mine according to Redflagdeals. $405 + 1 tax + $6 shipping = $432.58 total (Black or Blue). Now that's a good price. That's cheaper than my AAO 8.9". :p I am finally going with 1000HE. Forget about VAIO P. :p

N120 has too much screen bezel for my liking.. Mind you the speakers are supposed to be kickass on it.

white one's are pretty played out for netbooks but i think it still looks the best for the 1000 series
