Yup! Just got mine. It's a great little machine. I paid $275 with the in-store coupon and Executive Membership rebate.

Nice. I got $125 on my last rebate. Only thing I don't like about the 6 cell is the way it sticks out.

Anyone has the Asus Eee PC 1005HA-V? If so how is it? How long does the battery actually last for, they say it's 8.5hrs?

just bought one last week or so at anitec for $360, $400 incl tax. it's roughly 8hrs without wireless. 6-7 hours surfing. 5-6 hours watching youtube. 4-5 hours watching movie.

pretty damn good, i must say. it's solidly built compared to the acer's netbook i've seen at futureshop. and a major plus in my book is that it has U.S. keyboard.

The 1005HA has different versions. Which includes different battery sizes from the versions available as well as different versions from resellers to places like futureshop/staples
