Bucks win in OT! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
And the Bucks did it in on the road ... pretty clutch! Happy for Giannis. |
For once, I agree with Charles Barkley. Chuck thinks that the Bucks are going to win the NBA championship this season. I think the Bucks have a legitimate shot to win it all. They have enough offense, and play good defence to beat either Philly or Atlanta. As for the Clippers or the Suns, it depends on the health of important players like Kawhi and CP3 for both teams to determine which team advances to the Finals. |
Kawhi is out with ACL injury. He done. CP3 has covid and probably will be good to go in a week or so. |

An NBA playoff game classic. Wow! -so glad that I watched this game 7 including the overtime on Saturday. |

The rest of the players... Well there were two scores total in the entire OT... They were too tired to score! |
The Official NBA thread Hawks win! Big game from Kevin Huerter. Trae Young made more shots late in the fourth quarter despite poor shooting in most of the game. (5/23 FG) Embiid made a bad turnover in the fourth quarter that lead to Gallinari getting an easy dunk. Philly needs to have a long, hard look in the mirror during the off-season. Ben Simmons played like shit. When your second best player for the 76ers sits on the bench late in the game, it shows the coach has no confidence in Ben’s free throw shooting. There was one play in the fourth quarter where Simmons chooses to pass the ball to a team mate in the paint instead of going for an easy dunk. His team mate gets fouled. LUL Mental challenges for Simmons! Too scared to shoot the ball because his shooting sucks. LUL Bucks vs Hawks is gonna be a good Eastern conference final match up. Bucks will need to defend well against the speedy Hawks. Hawks can score points in transition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Booker, Trae, Giannias taking over the NBA from Curry and Lebron. New era is here. |
Weird how you got failed for that :lol |
As for the Nets ... I guess Lebron, Wade, and Bosch didn't win it the first year they played together either. But it still feels good that they didn't advance. As much as I don't like the Nets, you gotta give KD kudos, a year ago (or was it longer?), he tore his ACL ... and the Nets bet on him with a huge contract. KD showed that he can still ball! He just need at least one other superstar. |

Not saying those players aren't stars. But as a fan, I want to see the best teams advance. Not wait for injuries to decide the series, and regretfully, that's what this year's playoffs is. Perhaps I'm bummed to not see Lebron/KD in the finals. But don't tell me that if their teams had healthy rosters that they would have dropped out already. |
AYTON! |
So annoying they kept going to replays on every fucking play. Ruins the momentum of the game. What a final play. |
Great alley oop dunk by Ayton! PG13 chokes at the free throw line. Missing those two free throws cost the game for the Clippers. LUL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So Raptors didn’t deserve full credit in 2019 because KD and Klay got injured? GSW didn’t deserve their rings when Lebron was basically playing solo? Lebron asked for his damn respect last finals but walked out in his team in GM 3 this year. Disappointing. |
The Official NBA thread Good news for the Raptors in last night’s NBA draft lottery. The team moves up in the draft from the seventh pick to the fourth overall pick. Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham is expected to go first overall to the Detroit Pistons, who won the event, but after that there are studs like USC and Chris Bosh-like big man Evan Mobley, Final Four hero Jalen Suggs from Gonzaga and G League Ignite stars Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga. Raptors could be contenders in the East in a couple of years. A good player from the draft playing with Van Vleet, Siakam, and Anunoby can make the team a top four seed in the East again. The Official NBA thread Great execution of the alley oop dunk by Ayton to win game 2 for the Suns. Jae Crowder with a difficult pass over the long arms of DeMarcus Cousins. Pin point accuracy. Booker made a good screen in Zubacs to prevent him from defending against Ayton. Ayton with the two handed dunk with enough time left on the game clock. Great play call by coach Williams. Loving the young teams. Booker vs trae. That would be a cool finals! |

Sure you can win a series or a championship with some injury luck on your side; a la Raptors. But you're definitely not building dynasties. |

Brick Simmons had the WORST Free Throw percentage in NBA HISTORY. Let that sink in, this "point guard" shot worse than Shaq, Big Ben and The Worm. |
Aside from stupid 3 point shots Trae took in the 4th, Hawks squeezed out the win. Capela beast on the boards. |
The Official NBA thread Middleton stepped up his game big time in game 3. A career playoff high 38 points for him tonight. He was on fire! Twenty four points in the fourth quarter. Giannis had 33 points. Trae looks like he sprained his ankle after stepping on a ref’s foot. Hawks’ shooting went cold in the fourth quarter. Bucks win! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Playoff P played another good game when his Clippers faced elimination. Man, these Clippers are a tough, resilient team. PG13 had 41 points on efficient 15 for 20 shooting. 13 rebounds, and three steals in an elimination game. Wow! Reggie Jackson scored 23 points and Marcus Morris helped out with 22. Although I am cheering for the Suns, I would not be surprised if these two teams play a game 7. |
