Lakers baby, 3-1.

Euro7r 09-27-2020 07:56 PM

Miami Heat' run continues to the NBA Finals. Herro/Robinson/Igoudala/Adebayo/Butler, what a 4th quarter finish.

LC21 09-27-2020 08:59 PM

Lakers in 6!

LAL vs MIA

pastarocket 10-04-2020 06:14 PM

Miami plays an inspiring game tonight despite losing Adebayo and Dragic.

Jimmy Butler played awesome! Forty point triple double for him. Tyler Herro made some big shots.

Miami did a much better job with their half court defence and rebounding.

Lakers started the game flat.

Jimmy Butler beast tonight. Kept attacking all night.

The Official NBA thread

Miami wins game 5! Awesome game. Jimmy Butler made buckets! Great to see him battle hard tonight despite fatigue. LeBron played awesome. LBJ was shooting well for the three pointers.

Seeing both players trade buckets in the fourth quarter was so fun to watch.

Duncan Robinson was a beast from the three point arc with six 3s.

Game 6 is on Sunday!

LBJ should have taken the final shot even though Green was open.

28 pt lead for the Lakers at halftime of game 6. It will take a miracle for Miami to have a comeback win.

Anyone can miss a shot, but Morris ... :fulloffuck:

Some big moves already and more coming up this week.
CP3 to Suns
Lakers re-loading for another run.
Bucks going all-in to keep Giannis.
Harden trying to get out of Houston, looking to join up in Brooklyn. Betting odds already dropped drastically since the "rumours" began yesterday.

Who do you guys got for next year? I already put a lump of money down on the Warriors, a lot is going to hinge on what they do with the #2 pick. If they package it together with Wiggins for someone else.

pastarocket 11-19-2020 09:45 AM

GSW is facing injuries to their star players already.

Klay Thompson is out for the season with a torn Achilles.

Poor Dub Nation. :lawl:

I think many teams will face injuries with a shorter offseason for players to get in game shape. When you add the revised season schedule and expanded playoff format, some players are gonna be hurting.

Euro7r 11-19-2020 12:17 PM

Disappointing to see Klay go down for another season. Good players plagued with injuries.

Obsideon 11-19-2020 12:47 PM

Gonna see a whole lot of "Load Management" this season.

^ But they kept VanFleet which I think was a more important piece. You can't (and not sure you want to) keep them all.

I agree. -not complaining about the Raptors' front office not being able to sign Serge. It's a business. -just posting Ibaka's IG post to show his love for the Raptors' franchise and its fans.

To their credit, the Raptors signed the best free agent centre available after Ibaka and Gasol signed with the Clippers and Lakers.

Aron Baynes' two year contract gives the team flexibility in terms of their cap room over a long term. The team gets a hard nosed centre who defends well, plays hard, and can shoot three pointers. I would sign Baynes over Gasol with the team at this point of their careers.

It is up to the young core of Spicy P, steady Freddy, and OG Anunoby to help this team become a championship contender again in the future.

dlo 11-23-2020 02:13 AM

lakers are fucking stacked.. disappointed to see rondo gone but fuck they added schroder, matthews and harrell? fucking insane.. not feeling the gasol add tho, lost both mcgee and howard....

mikemhg 11-24-2020 03:31 PM

Heard the analysts talking about the Lakers getting Giannis as well at some point.

I love Lebron, but the Lakers have the damn cheat code.

whitev70r 11-24-2020 04:09 PM

^ Three's a crowd. If that happens, Lakers self-combust.

pastarocket 12-10-2020 11:58 AM

Another star player signs a max contract extension.

PG13 signs with the Clippers again. -extension worth up to 226 million US.
