Warriors are secretly tanking to get a high draft pick!!! maybe?

remember when the Spurs was dominated but Robinson was injured for a year, Spur sucked and got the first pick for Tim Duncan?

NBA trade deadline deals. Here are some of the trades:

D’Angelo Russell moves from Warriors to Timberwolves for Andrew Wiggins, two draft picks

Heat gets Andre Iguodala from the Grizzlies

Clint Capela to Hawks, Robert Covington to Rockets in four-team deal

The first trade to emerge as the deadline approached was a doozy, at least in terms of the sheer numbers of teams and players involved.

According to ESPN and The Athletic, here is who got what:

Rockets: Robert Covington, Jordan Bell and a second-round pick
Hawks: Clint Capela and Nene (whom they waived on Thursday; he would have been guaranteed his $2.7 million salary for 2020-21 if he was not cut by Feb. 15.)
Timberwolves: Malik Beasley, Evan Turner, Juan Hernangomez, Jarred Vanderbilt and a 2020 first-round pick from Atlanta (via the Nets)
Nuggets: Gerald Green, Shabazz Napier, Noah Vonleh, Keita Bates-Diop and a first-round pick from Houston.

Miami Heat gonna make a run this year, playing so well.

Aaron Gordon got robbed again, history repeat itself...

Gordon had all 50's dunks until his last one (which was creative, dunking over Tacko Fall that is 7'5''). Choked he didn't win.

Aaron Gordon should have won the slam dunk contest with his dunks.

Props to Derek Jones Jr for his great dunks too. I liked his Tornado dunk.

Having said that, Gordon’s dunks had a very high level of difficulty. Jumping over 7 foot 5 Tacko for his final dunk and also making that one hand dunk were amazing.

Wade robbed Gordon^

koukimonst3r 02-16-2020 04:59 AM

Yep, Wade had to give his old team mate a 10

Inconsistent scoring again this year. AG got robbed.

Derrick's last dunk wasn't creative, took 1 extra step in from the free throw line and got 48. AG dunks over Tacko and only gets 47!? Even before the last round, found Derrick's first few dunks to be repetitive...

This All Star game is actually intense and competitive!

The fourth quarter of this game is awesome! Giannis with 3 blocks. Blocks on LeBron and Anthony Davis. What defense!

Lowry taking charges. Players arguing about foul calls. :lawl:

^ after a few points, I was thinking why is #2 all over the court ... haha.

It was an ally oop fest. It's like just throw it up around the net and someone will fly through the air and dunk it in.

A Celebration of Life memorial service for Kobe and his daughter Gianna.
Rest In Peace. :tears:

Finale is tomorrow for Last Dance, it's pretty darn entertaining especially with no sports going on. Anyone that has doubts that Jordan is the GOAT is in deniable.

Obsideon 05-17-2020 02:59 PM

I read somewhere that Europe was starting to loosen up the COVID restrictions. People are allowed to go out and play tennis, lawn bowling and BASKETBALL (?!) but must maintain social distancing.

Immediately I thought ... so everyone is going to play defense like James Harden? :alone:

Great intensity tonight between the Lakers and Clippers in this game. As expected, there was
Sloppiness in the play of both teams
With turnovers. Overall, Klaw, PG13, Anthony Davis, And LBJ played good games.

As predicted injuries are starting to pile up..

Euro7r 08-15-2020 01:12 PM

Great win for Blazers to make playoffs.

Lebron vs Melo, class of 2003 draft. Gonna be exciting.

pastarocket 08-19-2020 06:26 AM

Good win for Rip City! Portland played a good game.

-good to see a resurgence in Melo’s game. He leaned out during the season stoppage. -playing well on offense and defence.
