Yeah at first I thought it was the skate tongue hanging out completely, but I just don't see how that would be possible or comfortable. So something must be attached at the top...

Apparently its not just NBA players, Chris Neil files for Bankruptcy

Chris Neil in personal bankruptcy

The strong man of the Ottawa Senators Chris Neil owes about $ 2.4 million to 45 creditors, he who has only $ 544,451 in assets, according to reports Agence QMI.

A financial report shows that Neil should include money to the Canada Revenue Agency, Royal Bank, Scotiabank, as well as SPO Partners, an agricultural cooperative based in Kitchener.

Also according to QMI, a judge consider a proposal that would see creditors of bankrupt Senators player to receive about 20 cents for every dollar owed.

At 30 years, Chris Neil has just completed the first year of a four-year contract valued at $ 2 million per year with the Senators.

Also today, JP Barry fired Kirill Kabanov as a client lol. Kid can't get along with anyone it seems, I'd be wary if the Canucks too him in the first.

Well, so much for Russian NHL draft prospect Kirill Kabanov cleaning up his act.

Top agent J.P. Barry of CAA, who had been helping Kabanov rehabilitate his image in recent weeks, told The Hockey News that he won’t be representing the player any longer.
After a tumultuous season that has seen the talented forward sent home from two teams while his draft stock plummeted, Kabanov is facing another high-profile parting. Hooking up with Barry had brought some stability to Kabanov’s situation, and he’d been admitting his mistakes in recent stories in the Globe and Mail and NHL.com

Barry is arguably the most respected agent in the hockey world, and Kabanov had done well in attaching his name to Barry’s. I believed it would be enough to get Kabanov back into the first round, as teams would be willing to forget all the rumors that have circulated about him being a strange character who doesn’t fit into the team concept.

This development totally changes things. If Kabanov can’t get along with a junior team, a national team, and a top agent, what NHL team is going to risk the valuable asset of a high draft pick to make him their problem?

Hondaracer 06-08-2010 04:26 PM

some shit franchise who thinks the risk is worth it will take him

no way Nucks are even gonna touch him

shawn79 06-08-2010 04:38 PM

Minnisota should take a shot at him (moving up late first from second), my god is that franchise terrible to watch. FUCK!

E-40six 06-08-2010 04:40 PM

i can see detriot picking him up in the first round and then moulding him to fit their system.

Datsyuk would make a good role model for him

shawn79 06-08-2010 04:40 PM

background on kabanov

-Leaves KHL because Ufa wont offer NHL out clause
--IIHF grants him to play in QMJHL with Moncton

-Leaves Moncton to play in U-18 Worlds in Belarus. Reasons unknown, either it was in his contract or he walked out due to playing time/dispute

-Kicked off Russian U-18 team for attitude/team unity reasons.

-NHL draft combine says he will drop Russian citizenship
--Depending on reports, only 17 clubs talked to him, some reports say he was poor during interviews, other say he did just ok.

-J.P. Barry drops him as agent

Meaningless. Dude is 30 years old...plus point per game in a second-rate league like the KHL (or really anywhere but the NHL) is like being point per game in juniors. MEANINGLESS.

Fabian Brunnstrom was amazing too, y'know...and look how that turned out.

There was one guy who used to be on CDC (Jester?) who used to get an orgasm for the idea of having Weinhandl play with the Sedins because there was an interview with them a half a decade ago of them saying that he was the best linemate they had ever played with.

murd0c 06-08-2010 09:59 PM

where is this weinhandl talk comming from anyways? sorry I'm out of the loop on this one.
