They had a 1-0, 2-1, and almost had a 3-2 series lead. Should have...
but they let Kane get a shorthanded goal with 15 secs left to force OT.
Then they blew it again in OT and lost the game.
Seriously, how hard is it to hold a lead on the PP...

I beg to differ, I think the Canucks had a better chance to beat the Hawks but our goaltending wasn't there.

I also think Nashville put up a great fight. I said it some pages ago, that they matched up really well against the Hawks. That game where they lost it after a 4 minute PP fucking pissed me off soooo much......There is no satisfaction in saying...."well at least the Canucks put up the best fight against the eventual Cup winner..." Fuck that shit, Cup or nothing......

I dunno...it just seems like really poor sportsmanship on his part and it does nothing for his reputation of being a douchebag. It's one thing to agitate someone during the game to get them off their game, but to go out of your way to grab the puck (twice!) so Niemi doesn't have a keepsake of the victory?

Anyways, I loved the intensity and speed of the game yesterday. Granted, 2nd period was a bit of a snoozefest. I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'm picking the Hawks to take it in 6.

lol, I stopped watching TV after Canucks' game 6.

I didn't even know Goalies take the puck at the end of a game.
I thought they only do that for shutouts.

They don't always take the puck, and it's not limited to goalies - maybe only for milestone markers, like record-breaking shutout, or perhaps a player's first NHL goal, etc.

Exactly. If Pronger cared about his reputation or lack of sportsmanship, he wouldn't be the player he is today. Do whatever it takes to get an edge on your opponent, mentally or physically. Obvioulsy something may be offside, such as race, but something like this, who cares.
