The Leafs look good in the last 10 minutes but it was almost a given the Leafs would get chances late in the 3rd because they hadn't played since Sat. And I’m still laughing at the failed breakaway attempts the Leafs had in the first period, god the Leafs suck. I think it's safe to say the Leafs will be playing for the number 1 pick this year. |
They traded that away. |

If the Leafs get the #1 overall pick and it goes to the Bruins, I'm going to laugh so hard... |

Leaf fans will be on suicide watch if that happen. Actually I think most of their fans are on the watch right now. |
Haha Burke made a dumb ass move during a rebuilding process to trade away his draft picks for Kessel. Typical Burke. |

But a pretty dumb statement none the less. To blame the loss because the other team's key player was playing well... |
ohhhh boy another injured player WELLWOOD injured his foot shirikov called up |
hmmm last night was an okay game. i was expecting the canucks to rock the leafs like they did to montreal. 3-1 was a tight game w/ our #1 line not contributing much all night long. again, 3rd line didn't seem very effective. good on mason raymond to get rewarded for his hard work tonight. if the 2nd line can work like this consistently, things will look a lot better when daniel is back! :D as for wellwood, maybe this will be good for him. the mounting pressure for him to produce (with linemates who hardly score) seemed to be getting to him. let's hope shirokov makes use of this 2nd chance at the NHL level! |

yeah, the leafs played well and they played desperate for most of the game. we were quite lucky they handed us so many power plays (especially the 6 in a row). 10th game has been played, i wanna see schnieder play tonight! screw bieksa! hahah. |
it would not have been good for the canucks to be 'the team' to give toronto its first win whichever unfortunate team that will be is going to be the laughing stock of the league "oh hey look who's next, its 'the team' who lost to the leafs" |

Sweet. I'm going to the game tonight - hopefully Shirokov can get back to pre-season form. |
it wasn't a dirty hit thats why theres no suspension, it seems like every big hit when a player has there head down people freak out about saying a suspension is needed. Richards is not a dirty play and hit him with his shoulder like they were taught in hockey. The first thing you learn when starting to hit is keep your head on a swivel and booth cut across the ice and got smoked fair and square. |
did he leave his feet though? kinda hard to see in that replay but thats what i've heard, he left both feet to make contact against his face |
