bieksa was on the ice for both washington goals, had 1 shot on goal, took 1 penalty and created the penalty shot for semin. amazing that he's a 0 for tonight instead of a negative.

Hondaracer 12-18-2009 09:49 PM

awsome game to be at tonght, nucks shut down ovi and it was incredibly entertaining, the tieing raymond goal was super loud, it was great

Nice.

On a serious note, AV needs to bench Bieksa for a game or two because it might wake him up. Right now he's fucking up so bad that he cost us the game vs. the Ducks and he almost cost us the game tonight. And what's even more shocking is AV actually gives him PP time, like wtf.

The guy next to us was saying how his buddy works at the hotel that the Caps were staying at and last night the rookies had a huge party in the penthouse. Lots of booze, and hookers. This morning, as they were signing out, there was a $20,000 damaged room charge and none of the rookies had enough $$$ to pay the bill and had to get one of the veteran players to pay.

Yeah, Ray and Chris mentioned the credit cards been declined and one of the vet players, forgot who they said, picking up the tab during the game. Ray and Chris also chuckled at the amount that had to be paid but they didn't say the amount on the air.

I'm not a Bieksa fan either, but I wouldn't fault the penalty shot on him. It was Salo's side who got burned and it was actually Bieksa who doubled back to try and bail out Salo.

Nonetheless, the Canucks lucked out. I've seen better games from WSH but tonight they played like how I come in at work on Mondays.

Tapioca 12-18-2009 11:27 PM

During my afternoon run on the Seawall, I ran into Vigneault who was running in the opposite direction. He had his IPOD on, but I should have stopped him and told him to stop playing Bieksa so much.

This is the most live I've seen the crowd at GM this season.

I don't think he can afford to scratch Bieksa with Edler out. With Rome in tonight and Schneider scratched, I don't want to see Schneider replacing Bieksa.

Wellwood played well IMO

Bouncing Bettys 12-19-2009 03:28 AM

fuck Ovechkin was almost invisible just like he was when i used him against my buddies in nhl 09. all he did (in our game) was take stupid penalties. the caps suck against canadian teams. the leafs are 2-0 against them this season. the schedule is so stupid. the canucks should play them a lot more often than the do. does bettfag not want to make money? posted while highly intoxicated

No way!!!

I totally traded Kyle Wellwood and Bieksa for Crosby, Ovie and pretty much the entire Chicago and Detroit team.

I think I overpaid too.

Yeah the 18-55 should be fine cause its just a kit lens. I don't think they'll allow telephoto 18-200 tho

I don't know camera lingo, but the limit is a 75mm lens. Does that make sense?

Yesterday was nuts. The pregame warmup had the more than usual amount of people at icelevel to watch. Ovie is fun to watch though. Kesler did a good job shutting him down.

The rule is "cameras must not exceed 75mm and no professional camera's allowed. You can call guest services to confirm this. With that being said, most of the hosts that work there do not know the difference and quite franky, could care less. When you enter the gates, a security may ask you to check in the camera at guest services and pick it up postgame. If this does occur, tell them it's less than 75 mm and they should comply. If not, and it is a detachable lense, they will ask you to check that in.

Well on the GM Place website all it says is this in the FAQs

"Are we allowed to bring our cameras into the building?
Cameras and photography are generally restricted for most events.

Please contact our Guest Services Hotline at 604.899.7440 to enquire about the camera policy for a specific event.
