Shitty that the home opener had to fall on a Monday, my work has a private box and is giving away tickets for the box but I think I rather watch the Vikings/Packers game at a bar tonight.

^ doesn't a private box have tv's as well? You might be able to catch the Vikings/Packers game at the nucks game

The private boxes do have tvs and will be playing the football game. Gates for the suites open at 530.

Yea only problem is its distracting trying to watch in the boxes, I've tried to before. I rather watch it at the bar where its their weekly MNF night event so I can focus 100% on the Vikings game, huge game tonight with Favre going up against his old team.

I think it was the World Juniors when Vancouver hosted them, the 50/50 carried over for like several games, at the pot for either the final or the next Canucks game was just over $80,000. Imagine how crazy that would be.

I have bad eyesight. Other than the GM Place experience, it's much better to watch it on a Big Screen LCD TV with HD anyways. I say this because your enjoyment of the game varies depending on the seats you've been assigned. At home, you're always up-close to the game + commentating.

Mind you, I'm just commenting on the "Game" part of the experience, not the overall experience.

You're right. That's why I splurged on a big screen and HD package. No more squinting or puttin' on the glasses.

When you are home, you are missing out on the girls/women who show up to the game in low cut tops, tight jeans/skirts and hooker heels. I swear, some of them think they are out clubbing with their outfits.

I usually sit right by the doorway so I see them coming and going. Yum yum.

Just gotta make sure their drug dealing gangster boy friends don't catch you trying to peek down their GF's tops. :eek:

LOL....Canucks games are good for people watching during intermissions. Surprisingly the ratio of women there is pretty good, and theres some dimes walking around...and yes...standing my the section entrances is definately not a bad spot to stand..lol

Speaking of which, I might have an extra set of tickets to the Ovie show right by those said entrances.
