I was only able to chose to buy 1 or 3 tickets wth! Seems like they fixed it now.

But the site is getting hammered! Prices are pretty crazy, I can't imagine people paying more than what TM is already charging.

HonestTea 04-07-2010 09:21 AM

Got 4 tickets. Time for me to sleep. Will explain later LOL

For Game 1 and game 3.

trip 04-07-2010 09:45 AM

i bet vancouver lost to avs on purpose.. we clinched anyways lol

fobulaus 04-07-2010 09:51 AM

Only could get game 7 tickets.... A couple $4xx tickets came up, no way I'm paying 8 bills for a pair of playoff tickets..

choda 04-07-2010 10:17 AM

Wtf was that shit?!?!? I tried to go on the site at like 9:55 and it wasn't working, did anyone else have those problems?

NimbeeTT 04-07-2010 10:33 AM

^ that's completely normal, it's always like that when something popular goes on sale lol site lags like crazy minutes before and after the release

Tim Budong 04-07-2010 11:01 AM

couldnt get em...
sucks

DuhDang 04-07-2010 11:02 AM

you guys got to realize that tickets are released in batches. at 10:20 I found a shitload of $250 tickets lower bowl sides.
Also try using multiple browsers. I was using mozilla IE and opera

lilaznviper 04-07-2010 11:16 AM

was trying to get tickets but i couldnt even get onto the site
i checked again 2 hours later and found 400 dollar tickets... but too poor to get them

Tim Budong 04-07-2010 11:29 AM

PuckDaddy looks at 5things the lames can do this off season

http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puc...urn=nhl,232678

quite a good read!

something outside of that, if in fact that Daryl Sutter gets canned, does the next GM want to be known as the GM that traded away Iggypop?

Hondaracer 04-07-2010 11:31 AM

I refuse to buy off ticketmaster such a markup

face value for row 5 section 114 for game 1 is 150 each for season tix holders

Caps have gone 7-2-1 w/o OV in the lineup this season and 7-0-0 w/o Green in the lineup. That's called depth.

I'd rather deal Kipper and use him to get some scoring help for Iggy.

Their depth will be gone once they resign Backstrom. With the way he's playing now, he'd get $7m/year easily.

For some reason, I can't bring myself to pick them to come out of the East. For a large part of the season I thought they would take the east in the playoffs, then I shifted to the Penns, and now I think the Devils.

Maybe this is the year, a run and gun style all offence, like the Capitals can get over the hump. This debate is always had in the NBA in regards to the Suns style, and they always come up short.

HonestTea 04-07-2010 01:22 PM

I found so many good tickets right at 10am. Lower bowl, center ice, row 3 for $418/each.

I was so tempted to buy it but spending $800+ for a pair of tickets is a bit much..so I opted for Upper bowl, center ice, row 2 at $175 for game 1 and Upper bowl, center ice-ish, row 3 at $155 for game 3.

PS: Theirs some tickets still available through their interactive seat selecting thing..

does that mean youll be flying/driving down to the states to watch the Canucks play against whichever American team they'll be playing? Game 1 and 2 are at home. Not game 3. I call bs. You don't have tickets.

Tim Budong 04-07-2010 01:36 PM

game3 meaning its game5 or what?
ahaha just curious
im not gonna call BS on jenson button

theres no reason to really...its the goddamn internets

SHARKY! 04-07-2010 01:38 PM

SHARKY! 04-07-2010 01:39 PM

Negative. For Ticketmaster theirs 4 games for the Canucks. They call them Game1/2/3/4 since only 4 games are played at home. :) Just for kicks how about you get a temp-ban for a month if I actually have the tickets and if I don't then vice-versa. :haha:

Darthchilli: Game 5. Actually theirs tickets for all, I just checked but their seems to be only single seats on Upper bowl still available and a few pairs for Lower bowls but they're $418/each =/

Tim Budong 04-07-2010 01:56 PM

yea bro
i saw those tix for 418, i quickly said no thanks
i rather buy from CL and pay less for a pair in the upperbowl

but i got game 2 from a buddy who got tickets via work
which is why so less seats were available

the seasonticket priority + the IOC/NHL execs getting seats from some sorta agreement means less for the general public

Roberto Luongo 6%

I'll concede that there were probably more overrated players in a "long long time" so I'll strike that from my comment. Luongo is still the most overrated player in the last 3 years though.

So sad that you used this survey to back up your statement. :noob:

Yeah that sucks. CL is flooded with tickets though, might be able to snag a bargain or two. If you're interested, game 4, 3 seats side by side, section 325, row 10 for $163.50/each on TM's site.

How much did playoff tickets for RD1 go up from last year?

alex.w *// 04-07-2010 02:42 PM

what would be a good price to sell 3 round 1 game 1 playoff tickets sec 325 row 9?
