Oh speedking. Take my car out for a spin one day, you know where to find me ;)

212ft/Lbs at 2700k rpm will make you forget about vtec, even in a RWD pig.

thanks for the offer man but i'm not the kind of guy who's easy to get(lol) although i'd like to see what my car can do against your genesis (is it fast?)
what's the redline on your car? why did you go from nissan gt-s or gtr? to genesis 2.0t? how many car did you test drive before you bought the genesis? i just thought after you sold your nissan gt-s or gtr?, you are going to get 350z or subaru wrx sti or atleast the v6 version of the genesis.

1990TSI 09-17-2009 10:24 PM

I sold the Skyline GTS-T and put a spare GTS-T motor + 5 speed swap into my S13 coupe. I sold that for the winter and rocked a 97 sidekick until sping when I bought this car. had no plans, just saw the super bowl ads and knew I needed to have one, so I got the first in BC. It was an impulse buy really.

speed wise the GTS-T was similar, but the genesis has waay better handling, plus it's a '10 not a '91. as for the wrx, that was stu, he had the red GTR and bought an 02 wrx when he sold it. still quicker than the genesis, but he has some stuff done and mines stock.

We should have a good race nigh though, I know you have work done, but it would be nic to see how i compare to your KA

Red SS I'm curious about too, but no idea on who owns it.
I know andrews car won't cut it though, not worth the gas on that car.

Brilliant insight there, retard.

Hey guys, guess what?!

I test drove the civic SI, what a piece of crap. GENESIS ALL THE WAY.

Oh, and yeah, I won't give ANY reasons to why the civic SI sucked, but holy fuck did it ever suck! Such a piece of crap, in fact, I think I may have pooed it out. So unreliable and resale value sucks even though the stats for it hasn't even come out yet.

GENESIS ALL THE WAY!!!

Lol. no one wants a GTI. if electrial issues were worth their weight in gold everyone would have them.

If you wanted a clever comeback, you'd have found a RWD car in my class to compare it to. unfortunatly for you, This happens to be the only RWD car around in it's price range. (here's where you try to argue how awesome FWD is)

reasale? reliability? LOL! the car has been out for 7 months!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA You can't even guess at the reliability of these cars for at leats half a year, and resale? the only used ones now are going for over sticker price.

If you're gonna hate on the underdog, try to find some better reasoning lol.

also, whatever you drive, has aids. TAKE THAT !!!!!11!!!!111 HAHAHAHA

Well, if what you say about the 05-06 type S is true, then the type S has the higher redline/fuel cut. Although, my Si revs higher :D

If you get the Si, LS600h owners will spank you and then RS will criticize you.

Yep, Cobb AP. I've got it tuned for VTEC engagement at 4500 and fuel cut at 8500 right now. No point in going much higher than that without some engine work.

I still haven't test driven a Genesis coupe yet, but I really want to. The only thing that puts me off from them is the weight. The Genesis should've been a couple hundred pounds lighter, then it would be a wicked car rather than just a good car :D

Mugen EvOlutioN 09-18-2009 09:39 AM

true that, the weight is definitely too heavy for wat it is, sort of like the R35

!Yaminashi 09-18-2009 09:44 AM

Wait, whats wrong with a GTI?

Mugen EvOlutioN 09-18-2009 10:10 AM

dunno, guess GTi gets no love as well now

They don't even have the same motor. Some 03's can rev to 8600rpm, due to the special valve springs some of them had.

Death2Theft 09-18-2009 11:20 AM

Buy a civic put on a mod, enjoy the theft.

i've never mention they are the same.02-04 types k20a2 redline start 7900rpm with 8200rpm cut off, 05-06types redline start 8100rpm with 8400rpm cut off, 07 si redline start 8000rpm with 8300rpm cut off.
