Not sure if it is a repost, but this video shows what this olympic meant to us, the Canadians!

http://www.ctvolympics.ca/video/inde...e-46c9493947e9

Going to hockey forums, even the Americans cheered for us, say how it was classy of us when we cheered for the team USA when they put the silver on. They are also saying how amazing the crowd was when we started to sing the anthem! :)

No time to feel creepy. You should have gone out there and taken hundreds of shots from all possible angles. Even if others mock you and call you a creep. Take the hit for us RS stalkers.

Son, I'm disappoint.

At least you got one good shot.

sorry to be a killjoy,

but how much debt are we in now from these past 2 weeks?

will tourism and real estate be booming like expected?

I think were going to be just fine. Montreal is the only city ever to loose money from the Olympics. The amount of people and money spent over the last 2 weeks alone will make a major push in our local economy. And... the amount of good press Vancouver had gotten is unreal. After seeing the aerial views, who wouldn`t want to come.

heard on the radio a few days ago that we actually broke even.

Hondaracer 02-28-2010 09:46 PM

Best time of my life these 2010 olympics, could not ask more from my country/city and to see what they have done for our identity as Canadians, i could not be more proud

after going DT tonight, i seriously doubt there will ever be larger crowds -ever- downtown, even with a stanley cup win, there just wont be

Thanks sooo much to all the volunteers who made these games fucking great, couldnt ask for more smiling/helpfull people, had an absolute blast over the past 2 weeks and i'm pretty much on the brink of tears writing this to know it's all over

Thank you all Vancouver for supporting and running such an amazing event, i will never forget these times my whole life.

btw, could it have been more of a beautiful day for the final day?
