i watched the closing ceremonies at heineken house. glad i got to go one last time. so sad to see heineken house go.

after the michael buble song and nickelback began to play, i stopped watching.

Best Winter Olympics ever.

I might head downtown tonight..

just got home to kelowna from spending the weekend down there. partied downtown yesterday and last night. and more importantly, watched the game at livecity downtown. then spent the day downtown. i've never experienced something like that before and im confident i never will again. it was canada day on steroids. my voice is gone and my hands are raw from high fiving everyone. i dont know what to do with the rest of my life because nothing will come close to today

anyone hear any word on an estimate of how many people were downtown this afternoon? id put a guess on an easy million

lol...oh, Craigslist. USED OLYMPIC TICKET MENS HOCKEY CANADA VS RUSSIA FED - $150 (VANCOUVER).

The last 2 weeks were beyond amazing. I'll admit the first few days were whatever, I didn't really feel anything but once we won our first gold and people started heading downtown the energy level went sky high.

What an amazing experience to be part of and an experience that we'll only witness once in our lifetime. The games were the best thing that ever happen to Vancouver and to Canada; it united everyone no matter what race/religion because everyone was proud to be CANADIAN for the last 2 weeks and it showed the entire world why Canada is the greatest country in the world.

I'm so fucking tired today. I was going nuts with my friends who were the Red/White men around downtown. That suit is a fucking chick magnet. LOL

i wore my holland jacket today and ppl thought i was a foreigner and kept greeting me and cheering holland lol it was great to see us acting so nice though

however i saw a cop bitch out a couple of seniors because they didn't realize the streets switched from pedestrian to auto traffic

Took these pics near the Robson/Granville area from 4:30pm~8:00pm. Most amazing crowd I have ever witnessed. Awesome - simply awesome.

Bahh you guys are making me feel like crap for not going downtown today. Kicking myself for not getting down there.

I did the Heineken House and Irish house over the past week and don't think I've had that much fun in a long time.

At the end of the day, I'm not as sad to see the Olympics themself go, but rather the jubilant atmosphere and great street parties that were had.

I hope the city and it's nightlife learned a lot about how to run REAL parties. No bullshit long line-ups, guest list or having to grease the bouncer. Just great venues and most importantly, a crowd that was there to have fun. No fights, mean-mugging or whatever. Just people who came together to celebrate.

That's what I'm going to miss because I fear Vancouver is going to go back to the city of no fun. :(

i saw someone get hit by a car right in front of the granville sky train station exit. lol.. the guy just got up, walked it off, everyone cheered and he left, it was wierd shit... lol. the guy will regret it in the morning.

funniest thing i saw today was one of those rickshaw cart things being crowd surfed with 2 dudes sitting in it. hahaha

everywhere you turned and looked today, something epic was happening

canada line during the ride home was crazy. guy with a ghetto boombox was playing music off his ipod. and people were breaking in the isles.

Reminds me of the skit from Dane Cook.. lol

every station on the expo line, everytime the train pulled in, people waiting were yelling GO CANADA GO or singing oh canada. it was unreal.

I just drove by o zone in richmond and they were starting to take down the stages, cleared the road blocks...

AT LEAST they could have kept the venues till the end of the paraolympics!
