agreed. even though i, like all of you, am a long-time-suffering canucks fan, there is just something to be said about the collective voice of 27million people (or however many people watched the game) all cheering for the same team.

John Furlong's reputation has definitely taken a hit over the last couple of days. Basically, VANOC was aware that the bobsled track was unsafe, but they elected not to make substantial changes to reduce the speed. To be fair, the FIL approved the course in the end. I was planning to head down, but the rain....

My gf and I were all gung no to check it out but decided we weren't in the mood to go all the way dowtown, get drunk and soaked, just so we could high five people up and down Granville
