I think this loss is a good one. For 1 the team will have 1 more game to mesh everyone's gears. I want Canada to win gold as much as anyone else but I just can't dismiss the careless mistakes the team is still making, especially an all star team with THE BEST players. They can make up for these mistakes when playing against a weaker team like Norway & Swiss. But versus another all star team like the US & Russia, small mistakes can cost them a goal or two or even three.

As for Brodeur vs Lu, I think either one of them can outplay the other on any given day. But Brodeur is definitely more consistent and experienced. I think he played alright, not his best, but definitely not the worst. Would Lu play better? Maybe, but dun bet on it.

How about everyone stops whining about how Canada pretty much has two top world goalies? Why try to blame someone for the teams loss? If you get beat, bear with it, it means the other team was better. Don't try to blame the loss on one player.

TSN had an article stating that it could be a good thing Canada lost to the USA, but Canada losing to the USA like we saw last nite is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
