Im a big Luongo supporter, as well as a big Broduer fan Sadly, in this city, we have assholes of ignorant Canuck fans who completely RIP apart Luongo on his bad games and ignores his greatness when he shines. These same fans are now Canada's ignorant bums who know nothing and use the same mentality to RIP team canada. The ignorant fucks i've heard all morning dont really know nothing about marty until now. Talking to one guy, he tells me Broduer was a nobody until he broke the shutout record or Broduer shouldnt even be playing becuz everyone wants Luongo So here it is. Luongo is starting vs Germany and will most likely start thereafter to represent the TRUTH NORTH STRONG AND FREE. I hope these same fucking ignorant douchebags who HATE luongo that now want him to start wont RIP him if say Christian Erhoff blasts a shot and its a weak one that goes in. Becuz these are the same fans that can RIP HIM A GOOD ONE when he lets in a weak goal even tho the canucks win a fucking game. btw..where are you ignorant fucks from the canucks thread who just seemed to dissolve off the face of the earth? Ive seen some great stuff in this thread |

You just wait, if any chance we lose to Germany 3-2 or whatever....it will be the otehr way around.. i.e. why we didn't start Brodeur.. he had more experience whatever.. I tend to ignore those types of post now as they will just not go away. Yes, Luongo had a shutout against NORWAY...15 shots faced..and the final score was 8-0.. i bet if Norway scored once, they will rip luongo for letting a goal in from a weak team |
Brodeur 6 goals against in 2 games brodeur won 5 games in last 16 Olympic starts if you start Luongo he will have to be pulled to be considered a failure, he's coming in as relief not a starting role Posted via RS Mobile |

USA,USA,USA!!!!!!! |
I think this loss is a good one. For 1 the team will have 1 more game to mesh everyone's gears. I want Canada to win gold as much as anyone else but I just can't dismiss the careless mistakes the team is still making, especially an all star team with THE BEST players. They can make up for these mistakes when playing against a weaker team like Norway & Swiss. But versus another all star team like the US & Russia, small mistakes can cost them a goal or two or even three. As for Brodeur vs Lu, I think either one of them can outplay the other on any given day. But Brodeur is definitely more consistent and experienced. I think he played alright, not his best, but definitely not the worst. Would Lu play better? Maybe, but dun bet on it. |
How about everyone stops whining about how Canada pretty much has two top world goalies? Why try to blame someone for the teams loss? If you get beat, bear with it, it means the other team was better. Don't try to blame the loss on one player. /flame resistant blanket on hand |

and Pierre LeBrun from ESPN also reiterated the same info earlier today although imo there is nothing hard to belive in those stats when you think about it Bro won in Salt Lake but he only played once Joseph faltered in the first 2 and in Turin they didnt make it out of qualification and placed 8th |
