I just got back from a 3 day boarding trip at Big White. Snowed 6cm on Wed night. I still go boarding at Cypress, so I'm gonna keep mine on for now. Probably will remove them at the end of the boarding season; end of Feb. |

Notice it is 14 day TREND not forecast. I think they just do a correlation between historic high/ low and current temp.. so you would notice crazy low temperatures usually happen when we have a few hours of unseasonably cold temperatures. I think the best weather forecasters in the world can do max 48-72 hours of forecast with decent certainty.. and we are talking about places with tons of resources like NOAA.. vs Environment Canada or worse Weather Network which just regurgitates information with pretty talking heads. ^ wow that site is creepy |
have you guys taken off the winter tires yet? damn it another failed winter. i hate stressing during start of winter to get them on, just to find out they were hardly used when February rolls in. Just like last year... i'm not a skier so won't be able to use them up on the mountains either. |
already swapped back to all seasons few days ago didn't want to ruin winter tires in above 7 degree temperature |
I never even took off my summers. We had snow for 1 week. |
If I wasn't still snowboarding I would take mine off too. "Worse winter coming this year" :suspicious: |
I didn't quite find the answer in this thread (too much to go through), but here's a question for running summer tires during the winter months. I know that the cold cold weather and heat cycling will ruin the tire compounds. but by how much? a noticeable amount? I was mostly driving my winter beater this winter, but did drive my summer car around here and there when it was dry or even raining. |
wet snow in burnaby or just real big rain drops Posted via RS Mobile |
