Change it back when you can, right now instead of dissipating water/snow, it's drawing them in with the backwards V lol.

Need someone to school me on this.

Should how should the rotation markings be facing?

Should the point of the right triangle face backwards or forwards?

If your tires are directional - there will be an arrow on the side to indicate the direction it should be rotating. Just think of the direction that the tire rotates when the car is moving forward and the arrow should follow the same way.

I wish I could say that they look good mounted on my rims but the shop ordered the wrong fucking tires. Ordered the A/T's not the M/T's. Guy said he's going to call around again tomorrow and see what he can do for me.

On another note does ANYBODY have a line or know a shop that has a set of 33x12.5R15 BFG M/T KM2's? And no i'm not going to Kal Tire when they want $315/tire.

He's talking about the lettering. You know, like when you see soccer mom's in their SUV's and the RF tire has a white circle around it cause she wore the first layer of rubber off, using it as a curb feeler.....

I guess i'll put the white walls on the outside cuz i'm a baws?

You should also check to see if the shop that mounted and balanced them at least mounted them correctly too. You wouldn't want all of the tires mounted exactly the same.

It also means you can only rotate your tires front/back on the same side rather than diagonal front/back.

White walls out FTW!

Maybe try Costco? They had my 33x10.5r15's km2 in stock. $250 per iirc.

Ya. I just went and read some reviews on tirerack. If Big'O'Tires can't get my KM2's I think i'm just going to get a full set of Dick Cepek's. Nobody has anything bad to say about them.

The Dick Cepek mud terrain's look good too. Little on the pricey side compared to the BFG's. I also looked at the Toyo open country's but they were $$$$.

On Tirerack they're the same price as the KM2's. And even a couple bucks cheaper if you get the Mud Country which is what i'm thinking. I think I might just bite the bullet and get a set of 4 and ship em to Point Roberts.

So just to get it straight...looking at the picture, where it says rotation..those triangles are arrows correct?
and based from the "arrows/triangles" they should be pointing towards the front of the car.

does that sound right?

lol tires are round, they will point at both the front and the back of the car depending on how far they've rotated :alonehappy:

The arrow points the direction the tire is supposed to spin when you are driving forward. In this case, the tire is facing the wrong direction.

Or towards the back if they're on the bottom

Removed front and rear lips and went from 15x7, +30, 205/50's to 15x6, +40, 195/55 snows on my EG sedan DD. Slightly taller tires but wow, I was so used to rubbing the fender liner everywhere, it feels weird not hearing it anymore. I'll leave the race springs in for now and if it get's bad enough, swap them out for stockers or sport's or just take the truck.

darn- tried to swap them myself on the weekend and the rims were stuck/rusted on. I was afraid to hammer it off as the car was on a dinky scissor jack. Tried spraying with some wheel cleaner and waited, no luck. So looks like need to pay $30 to swap them at a shop like Kal T or something... The $30 12v power wrench from CDN Tire worked really well though, got the lug nuts off with no trouble.

Borrow a jack from a friend.

I ended up using a rubber mallet on my rear wheels, they were stuck on pretty good.

Loosen the lugs a bit, just enough that you have a bit of play in the wheel, then go for a short drive around the block. The play in the wheel, combined with the full weight of the car, will break the wheel free.
