What size are those?

Lots of fun when you get a stuck wheel with a 35 sidewall i've split 2x4's hitting the rim/tire to get it off.

I put my winter tires on yesterday. My other tires are scary and ready for replacement. What a difference!

FYI - in case anyone is going down to the US to get tires installed - I was coming back from Blaine on Tuesday and they are actively checking for new tires (i.e. ones that are installed on the car) when you cross over. The guy stuck his head out the window and used his flashlight to check each of my tires while I was stopped at the booth. (my winters are 3 years old so obviously not an issue for me) I thought I'd warn those who were thinking of sneaking new tires over the border - declare them because they ARE checking now.

its snowing in richmond now, and already saw a huge accident at sea island way and garden city... put em on NOW! plus it means shitty drivers + shitty conditions = more accidents!

be careful!

k3mps 11-17-2011 06:39 PM

am definitely not going to richmond anytime soon.

Integra is back!!!!!!!!!!

anyone interested in buying it? 94 coupe comes with SNOW TIRES

roastpuff 11-18-2011 12:08 AM

Did a super fast tire swap before heading back to ubc after dinner today, pit crew style. I've reduced the time it takes to less than 30 minutes including moving the car around etc since I don't have a big enough garage to do it without reversing sides haha.

So very glad I spent the time today.

Was able to swap in the conti DWS's this morning just in time. Handled amazing in the wet snow conditions. The real test will come when it really starts dumping though

no, snow tires are a misnomer for winter tires.

FN-2199 11-18-2011 12:32 AM

Popped on the winter tires on today, and oddly enough it snowed hours later! :fuckyea:

Bonka 11-18-2011 01:59 AM

I thought I could hold out longer but ended up changing them a few hours ago.

Man, using an emergency jack is a pain in the ass.

Can't wait to record idiot drivers :D

FerrariEnzo 11-18-2011 02:31 AM

christ sake, nobody has any KM2's in stock...

Finally found some, jesus. Apparently BFG doesn't have any more left over for all of North America, found a shop in langley that had some in stock. Gah, that was a stressful afternoon #firstworldproblems

Cereal Killer 11-20-2011 10:18 PM

Just in time for a week full of...rain. Still looking for some cheap steelies, so no tires or driving in the snow for now. At least it looks like all-seasons can deal with the current weather for a bit.

!Yaminashi 11-21-2011 09:24 AM

Changed to my winters on Saturday, can definitely feel a huge difference between them and my all seasons

CP.AR 11-21-2011 11:08 AM

just started looking at winter tires (since I got scared shitless last year driving up knight with my morelikedryperformancetires "all seasons").

What should I be looking for? I'm just looking at the cheapest General Tire ones at TireRack...
