I go to the Coquitlam one and they are way better than the Vancouver location. I used to go to the Vancouver one often, but not much anymore.

To show you how long I've been a Lee Valley customer, my customer number is in the low 4100's.

New customer numbers are now in the hundred thousands.

And, I didn't join for quite some time.

Flip through the book at home (or use Find) and then go to the store. One of the guys at the store in Coq drives an old school Bentley Continental R.

Lee Valley takes their "show room" very seriously.. it is just a room to show products.. the rest is not that important.

lol.. i went once looking for specific hinges, buddy dealing with me mentioned "man i'm so tired.." like 4 times, couldnt find what i wanted, i had to flip through the book myself..

second time i explained what i needed for a window latch, the guy just stood there and put zero effort into looking up what i needed, proceeded to flip through the book again without even looking at the pages in completely different sections than what i was looking for..

Back to rain after only a couple hours of light wet slushy snow in North Van.Anybody know how Byrne & Marine in Burnaby looks like? I'm dying to play golf at Riverway but have no idea if they've mostly thawed out from the snowfall.(they've been closed for a week, very rare!)

Doesn't look like a 'white' Christmas ... unless you count the crap shoveled into piles.

Yet another snow fall warning.. Reminds me of lining up at Seymour for the A&B Sound / Sam's boxing day gong show! I laughed when I heard about Bay's cannot control the weather sales ad on the radio. I know they are trying really hard to compete.. but the Mother Nature is not being nice this year.

Only a light dusting in Bby, Van and Rmd

boibuddha 12-26-2016 06:09 AM

Started falling in Guilford and Newton areas of Surrey not too long ago.

I noticed that the Visions parking lot was pretty full on my way to work, if you are planning on shopping there.
