So it was lightning that I saw. The hail was coming down so quick that all the major routes are covered already.

And that STI will overheat soon lol.

Been snowing on and off here in Squamish throughout the day, over 10" total already and still coming down hard right now. One of the snow plows for the highway actually caught on fire while working up by Whistler, so the roads are getting cleaned even slower.

I'm surprised how few people carry a shovel when driving in snow. A few feet of clear pavement is all you need to get moving. Takes maybe 5 minutes to shovel.

Looks like the snow stopped for now (clear skies) in Richmond. Great way to end the night, helped out a neighbor out with his BMW (dude went for a maintenance) out of the intersection then into his driveway. :victory:

It surprised me this morning how many people stopped to thank me and the other drivers for shovelling/salting the sidewalks in front of the store. Although drivers need to be more aware of the slush they throw up onto the sidewalks -_-

Wife watched the neighbour across the street from us try to get their Mercedes E350 try to get their car out. They spent nearly an hour and moved about 3 car lengths before giving up. Had shovels and traction boards etc. I bet they're on summer tires.
