The 409 theme bird will probably be there on static, I'd be shocked if it wasn't. F22 won't be there obviously :( I'll be at the show on Friday in the performers tents.

If you ever go to Las Vegas go check out the Speedway area outside the North end of the city where the roadcourse, oval, dragstrip etc are. Shelby's factory is in the same complex. Nellis AFB is right across the highway and jets often fly final approach right over top of the speedway complex. I guarantee you will see one :)

EDIT - They'll have a B52 on static this year. If you've never seen one of these up close they're pretty interesting and MASSIVE. Kind of a weak lineup for air demo's though when it comes to jets. F18 and A10 are the only current fighters. Last year they had the Thunderbirds, an F16 demo, F18, F18 Super Hornet, and F15.

Sweet - I'm going to LV in October. Now how do I convince my wife, 3-yr old son, parents and grandma that we need to go to the LV Motor Speedway? :)

Won't be making it this year:( I work tomorrow at 3pm and I'm flying out on Saturday.

Did anyone else go the the Abbotsford show? The A10 demo on Friday was pretty nice, close to the crowd. I got to watch the Snowbirds from the hot ramp which was a different perspective. Here are a couple shots from the heritage flight on Friday at Abbotsford. Snagged some stills from the GoPro in the F18:

Wow crazy shots, so u were the passenger in the CF-18?

Me and my buddies were there in a chalet on Saturday, this years air performances were pretty weak cOmpared to last years even but it was still fun

On Saturday though the A-10 lost some metal peices off the body and I said "uhh that's not part of the show.." the announcer came on and said the performance would be cut short

Man the PAK-50 just looks huge and cumbersome. Can't be very maneuverable compared to other 4.5 or 5th Gen fighters.
