hmm... bestbuy say limit 5 per household... i ordered 2 one for myself and one for my dad for instore pick up... they had it instock.. but they cut my order and say limit 1... can they do that? they can't just cut my order and just tells me last minute just as a go pickup..

ya i called their headquarters and they forwarded my email to management at bestbuy and they'll contact me regarding it. they said they shouldn't be allowed to cut customer's order espeically when it say limit 5. prolly nothing i'll get out of it maybe except a $10bux giftcard...

LOL do these people not know that the 32gb is $299 plus tax? I've been busy all day up until now so unless things have changed, the 32gb is still available in stock.

As far as I know, 32GBs are gone practically everywhere now too once the 16GBs were all gone first. Most places seem to have the 64GB units though.

Anyone have quality control issues with theirs (stuck/dead pixels, not charging, etc)?

i got my blackberry messenger working through bridge now. If anyone can't get it working update your blackberry messenger on your phone to the latest version and accept the agreement, and update the playbook to the latest version as well and it should start working.

all of you who cant find any, order online from staples. i had no problem last night ordering online, and the kelowna location had a bunch instore. so i actually have 2 haha. but i will cancel the online order.

Anyone have any with a dead pixel? Mine does at the top and it kinda drives me crazy. Think I have to exchange it now dammit

First one I bought had a black dot underneath the screen, not a dead pixel. Second one has a few stuck pixels, doesn't charge past 26%, loose charging port, wifi cycles. Ugh. This is the 32GB. I always seem to have problems when buying something with a screen. Either that or horrible QC by RIM.

Some Chapters still seem to have some 16GB units left, based on their inventory check.

i have no problem except for 1 dust under the screen.. meh i guess i'll live with it.. since it's not likely i'll be able to get an exchange.. anyone know if this is discontinued? or RIM is still gonna be making them?

no problems what so ever, loving everything about it, learning how to use it more and more daily and optimising it to my liking...

Nobex Radio is my new favorite app. one more thing i love the size of it. i use it mostly vertically because then i can type on the keypad exactly how i did on my iphone. fits perfectly in my hand without straining it like the iphone keypad did.

tried calling everywhere that carried it in Langley today but all of them are all out of stock...couldnt get through to staples or best buy and still have to call the source!

For those of you who purchased one already, anyone notice if their playbook doesn't lie flat? Mine has a bulge around the logo and slides/pivots on it when I type. When doing the swipe gestures, it literally rotates my playbook. Very frustrating, however I was able to get an authorization for an RMA for this issue and RIM is sending over a new 16 GB to me! :thumbs:

It will be shipped to me within 2 business days and I have 10 days to send back the old one. Otherwise, bringing it back to the store will get you no where as they're all out of stock.

So if anyone has the same problem, or any other issues for that matter call playbook support, they're 24/7!

I didnt even think of that since when ever its charging it spins and drives me crazy and with the dead pixel thats perfect. I'm really thinking to see if I can exchange it to walmart and forget the charger by"mistake" tho :D
